G'day Clare!! Been a fan for ages. I learned to crochet when I was very little and it's always been one of my greatest loves!! However, I love to watch your tutorials, you have a fresh and relaxed approach to crochet which I love! I'm also very impressed with your patterns and ideas, especially the wide headband for the cold weather and the neck warmer which is being converted into a poncho collar as we speak!! Keep up the good work and keep smiling - as only the Australians can!! Oo-roo...xxx

Hello, I just wanted to thank you for making this video and sharing your wisdom. Your videos are wonderful and very helpful. I'm enjoying making this quick and simple scarf for a third time. :)

Your videos are the BEST! I picked up crochet three years ago after not having crocheted since I was about 10 years old. Your videos have consistently been the most helpful. Your pace is perfect, and you're a natural "teacher". Please keep making videos, and know that people (like me) are watching them. :-)

I've made three projects you've posted I made my scarf solid red because that's all the thread I had to use and red is my favorite color! Tried it immediately, it's great, will truly enjoy it if it ever gets cold in Texas!! LOL

Hi, either one would work, the single crochet will leave a ridge and the slip stich will not. The single crochet may be slightly stronger in my opinion

@HeroJez1 YEah, tension does come with practice.. may take you a month or so, I know its boring but maybe make a HEAP of chains like a few meters worth and then undo it and then do it agian etc.. this way you will be practicing your tension with out having to concentrate to much :)
@CrochetwithClare13 жыл бұрын

When you do your foundation chain, you don't add a couple of extra stitches to act as a turning chain?

On the red and white scarf that u have made in two styles I don't understand how u stitched your ends when u changed colors.they are so pretty and look very easy to do.but,either your tape skipped that part bc it's where u stopped.i always watch your videos several times if I have a problem.i love your channel.i've learned quite a bit from you.thank you very much.Lily Baker

Did you do a single crochet at the end to make an even edge to sew the two parts together?
@ChristieOo11 жыл бұрын
Hi there, this is Christie from bobwilson123 helpdesk. No Clare did not do a row of single crochet at the end of this. But there is nothing stopping you from adding it on if you find it easier to join the pieces that way.
@Natas_Nico085189 жыл бұрын
So I am making a gray and navy scarf, after I transition do I tie it off and cut it after I get the row in? just scared it will unravel if I don't do it properly... bobwilson123
