@jackiexboy HI there, you need to do the chain in groups of 4 for the pattern to work out and so that you dont have any extra stitches left over.. you can use any amout of chains as long as its can be devided by 4 :)

I just love this stitch pattern! But I have a few questions. How come you count in groups of four on the foundation chain? And can you use any number of chains for this kind of stitch? Like of I want to make a blanket and I start with 142 chain stitches would this stitch still work?
@CrochetwithClare11 жыл бұрын

I'm pretty knew myself. In all the videos I've seen, you use a needle and thread it through your work until it's all used up. Hope that helps.

What name of yarn did you use in this scarf? Also what size needle did you use? I want to make one just like that with either a navy blue and gray or navy blue and white. This will be my very first time of ever doing something like this. Hope it turns out like your did. I really like it. After I do this, I want to make one of your head bands. I really like the one thats blue and has a tie thing in the front. I hope I can do it. LOL

I hope someone can answer my question asap! What is the best way to weave in ends on an afghan using this pattern. Should I weave them in across or vertical?

In your tutorial you made 3 rows of color but your scarf shows 2 rows of colors. I would like to make it exactly like you did so should I make 2 rows of red and 2 rows of white? Also, can you tell me how long is the scarf or can you tell me how many rows of red and how many rows of White did you make?
@donnadestefanis648810 жыл бұрын
Love this pattern, question due you weave the ends in or do they travel along the side of work?

I have always counted the initial slip knot as a chain because it is counted as a chain stitch as you come back and work the first row of a pattern. I am noticing that you don't count it as a chain on your base row of chains. If the pattern says chain 306, you would actually have 307 the way you count the chains. What are your thoughts?
@kateoneill72267 жыл бұрын
Doesn't that throw your stitch count off by 1?
@ClaudKellyy10 жыл бұрын
It's an amazing design, and I love the end product! Just one question; which type of yarn did you use for this project?

I'm having a hard time understanding the "rhythm" of the ends. Would you mind submitting another tutorial where you show several, less wide, rows emphasizing the turning of new rows.
@kateoneill72267 жыл бұрын
On the first row, your ends are 3 dc. On the row after that, it's a dc. On the next row, it's 3 dc. I'm not sure where the problem is.
@uberniean10 жыл бұрын
Hello- what size hook are you using?
@CrochetwithClare10 жыл бұрын
It's a 4mm hook (G) and using 8ply yarn.
@uberniean10 жыл бұрын
it is an H hook that I am using.
@marybrock49425 жыл бұрын
What size hook plz
@CrochetwithClare5 жыл бұрын
that would depend on the size yarn you are using. if you are using 8ply use what your yarn calls for which is usually a G/4mm or H/5mm hook, if you are using worsted than the yarn will most likely call for a H hook or an I/5.5mm hook
