I engage in the ultimate reset, as you have called it, walking, daily. It is easy to commit to because I enjoy it. I’ve tried to improve upon it by going down the barefoot shoe rabbit hole with mixed results. Over time I’ve found out that the way I was walking was from bad habits of heal striking and long strides and doesn’t go well with minimalist shoes. I’ve had to relearn how to walk in a way that compliments the minimalist shoes and it has helped tremendously with sore feet and lower back pain that I used to have from long walks. (Special thanks to the Steven Sashen video of how to walk naturally) I think it would be great if you revisited the topic on one of your movement snax. For me, it was something I overlooked because, who doesn’t know how to walk right? Anyway, always appreciate your content. God bless!

Sir, twice daily I do your pelvic floor exercises for 15 mins in conjunction with this I do your rocking push ups to combat the loss of upper body muscle due to hormone treatment, after prompting by myself my Macmillan UK nurse viewed your videos & stated they are just what I needed & keep doing them, it is nearly two years now & I certainly have seen a significant benefit many thanks

YES! LOVE this video. Movement = risk! 1 surf session today, 2 risks. Low tide, reef, fell & landed my QL on rocks. Then ended up in the path of a SUP, managed to dodge it mostly, fin scratch across my back. No injuries though! But SO MUCH FUN! Death is certain. You could not move and die. Or, you could die happy knowing you had a lot of fun moving. Love the snowboard on the wall. Movement is risk! Enjoy the macadamia paste. Try some vegemite next!

Thank you, my friend! However, all of my Australian friends have warned me that trying Vegemite does have risks that may be greater than I want to pay!

The only risk to trying Vegemite is that it invokes strong feelings & opinions! 😉 You either love or hate it, and will be very opinionated about either 🤣

If concerned about loss of strength and function, and sarcopenia, you don't have to try to do everything every day. Break it up. Maybe do pushups, or rocking pushups, squats, and bird dogs one day, and crawling, rocking, and head nods the next. You can repeat that 3 times then take a day off, or extend the sequence with standing cross crawls, marching, and getting down on the floor and back up. Mix it up and don't get bored or stale. Go for a walk. I put a lot of value in kettlebells, particularly swings and carries, but also like dumbbells for rowing and curls. Find something you'll do. A little done often works. Jeff

Motion is lotion! Show up everyday. If it feels good; do it. If it doesn't; don't.
