Welcome to my new Qigong Weight Loss Challenge. This program takes Qigong training to the next level by performing the movements while wearing ankle and wrist weights. Today's workout is my Upper Body Program. It will target every muscle in your shoulder girdle. Providing you with strength, stability and mobility. Whether you want to use this for one week or ten weeks its up to you. These programs will get your heart pounding, your muscles pumping, your metabolism soaring, all while stilling your mind and calming your emotions.

Wow! I've been doing ab and arm workouts for a month and never felt the burn I did with this challenge after one day. WooHoo! I really love your videos. I hope you consider offering a teacher training at some point if you haven't already. Two comments: First, I found it disruptive when the camera kept panning to the street and the house across the street, although I decided to take it on as a challenge in staying centered. Second, I notice that you talk really fast during your intros. As an ESL teacher, I would love to share your videos with my students, but I imagine they would be lost at first because of your speed.

Sifu Bodhi, thank you so much for your hard work to put together this amazing program! I already use your other videos in rotation each week, but I have a feeling this series will be the best yet! I just finished Day 1 Upper Body (used my husband wrist weights), and I am amazed! The movements you chose to demonstrate are quite simple Qigong movements, but with the added weight, they take on a very different effect in the body. Like all Qigong, this is not gain through pain, but slow, rhythmic energy. I could do all of it, not at your level, so I have much to work through, but I felt like I was becoming acquainted with these movements again for the first time. I am truly looking forward to this series!

Thank you for sharing your gift with this practice. It’s just what I needed. Q: When you’re exhaling, is that like a closed mouth-guttural throat breath, or just regular out breath. Not sure if it really matters; curious for technique and cleansing. Thank you!

I am super grateful for your videos and do the Advanced Weight Loss videos religiously. Seriously life changing! I bought weights ahead of time in anticipation of starting this series. I just finished the above video which is amazing but found it super disruptive having to deal with ads at least 5 times during the whole video. It brought me out of focus and really took me out of flow. I'm not sure how we're supposed do these exercises and stop in the middle every time an ad pops up. It left me feeling more annoyed and irritated afterwards. I was looking forward to the series, but now I don't know if I can do it if you have the ads on. Is it possible for you to have the videos running without the ads? Thank you and keep doing what you do!
