Nope , he's not. Actually, he's an !d!ot 😂😂😂 If that cop has unlawfully detained the subject, then running from cops is not a crime, is no law against that. Cops don't like when people run of them but this don't mean is unlawfull. In that case what the truck driver did is called assault and battery. Yes, you read it right. This video is a short, we don't have actual evidence of the case. The cop stop the guy, we don't know if is a consensual encounter, a lawfull or unlawfull detainment and, for a fact the cop never say, not even when running after the suspect, "stop you are detained" or "stop you are under arrest". Without those elements, no reasonable person will believe they are under the authority of the cop. When the truck driver tackle the running guy well, a decent lawyer will have some nice work to do there and the driver will have a lot of money to pay if not jail time to do. I tell this from personal experience. My youngest brother, when he was 16, was stopped by 2 cops becouse he was "suspicious", and that is not a misdemeanor and not even a felony, practically no crime. How my little brother is a little nuts, for his own fun, he run. A block away from our home so he was preety fast in front of our yard. A smart hole neighbor think good to tackle him in front of our home. There the hell unleashed. Obviously the cops beat the sh!t out of my little bro because he run. Our lawyer eat them alive. 240k from the federal lawsuit. The 2 cops had to resign. Our neighbor got 2 years of jail and 2 of probation for assault with a deadly weapon (he was concealed carrying when he did the tackle) and had to pay 40k in physical and psychological damages. The only winner in that situation was my brother (and his lawyer, obviously), in his words, "with a single beat up i make it to buy my first apartment and car..." , smart dumb nut. The moral is that if the cops F up and you help them, guess who will be F up too? And guess what, the cops DO F up a lot. Good luck on helping them. Back the blue until WILL happen to you.
