My heart was racing , My father in law was a Tennessee State Trooper. I loved him to death. He Loved being an officer and Loved and Respected each and every office he worked with. God Bless these men. And Thank God they were all safe. Even the the four legged officer. You All are True Hero’s! Thank you all for you Service. My father in law is No Longer with us. But the day he was laid to rest, we had officers lined up on both sides of the street for Miles. It still makes me Cry!

It seemed like no officers were seriously injured (hit by bullets). I certainly hope that's the case. And I don't know if the suspect died but I'm glad another piece of human trash is cleaned up off the highway. I own a Charger, and there's nothing stopping me from opening the door and getting out while it's in drive. Because all the cops I know need way way more tactics and firearm training PERIOD. Stop it at about 5:04 and you see the officer's windshield took a hit, right in front of him. A lucky guy... the officer, not the perp.... How does the song say it, "and another one's down and another ones down and another one bites the dust...." In my day growing up in Ohio the State Patrol used to show movies called "signal 30" which consists of highway accidents and the results of recklessness. Today, they ought to show body cam footage like this so kids can be impressed with the results of criminality... and as the film fades to black...."and another one's down and another ones down and another one bites the dust...."

In the academy when you and your dog are being trained, they use sirens in training scenarios to get the dog used to sirens blaring, they also use special "guns" that pretty much shoot just blank rounds to get the dog used to gun shots so they don't get scared when ACTUAL gun shots pop off.

I would never go in to combat with one clip. I hope officers are trained to always have reloads easily available. I also agree sirens should be turned off automatically when vehicle is put in park. If 4 officers fired their weapons with one being a 5.56 30 round mag thats almost 70 rounds fired at 2 people.

Police don't carry firearms that use clips. They have pistols that utilize magazines and yes they do carry extra magazines.

Cause when your in that situation you need every second you can get pulling up on a scene like that you don't even hear the siren until things are calmed down an believe it or not taking the extra few seconds to reach down an turn that siren off could of ended his life with those bullets coming at him .. thats why you seen him turning them off once the threat was ended

In state of TN, one of the stipulations for police to use force is to identify as police prior to shooting, so training is to shout police before shooting. Muscle memory

I love how that Officer went right away to check his K-9 partner!! Our K9’s play such an important role in taking a bite out of crime‼️

thank goodness the officers, especially this officer was ok.. and his k9 were ok.. car got shot up.. Praise God he is ok!!!
