Awesome to see the evolution of your production values, but aside from that you just make really good, insightful content that is tangibly helpful. Keep it up, friggin love this!

I can think of a few times where I've bottled it and gone straight and been pulverised under the lip and wished I'd picked a high line and gone for the barrel. Great advice from the legend. Cheers for the great vid.

man, I used to be out at sandys oahu and hubb would be out there catching like 2 to 3 ft waves but he would generate so much speed out of nowhere. he would somehow channel this speed and launch off the lip and pull an ars. same thing with mike Stewart. hed do the same thing. on these small summer waves. so sick.

❤ Yeah ! I was always good at Tube riding ! Those , waves down near Newquay's harbour , down at Towan beach sermed especially good for tube riding back in the 90s , back when, I was in a Surfing Club. Although some of the beaches seemed to change on a yearly basis. Particularly Bantham in South Devon , my mum's local beach. ❤ I am noticing, more and more , how complicated and dangerous Surfing can be. ❤ But, tube riding, out at Towan , with the 90s Plymouth and Saltash Surfing team was one of my specialities. ❤ Although we, seem to be a bit tied up at the moment here in Plymouth. ❤ I used to enjoy, Training , or Train Riding down to Newquay in the 90s and even onwards. ❤ All on my todd, (alone) . ❤ , but. These, days, walking around, in the hard surfaces of the city, needs a lot of rest. ❤ But, hopefully , the team will be, growing and, become more , er. Efficient, with labour saving associated with more catering and task sharing. ❤ I personally prefer, a life guarded area, as I often surf alone. ❤

I'm just getting the feel of engaging the rail atm. Trying to fight the feeling of omg I'm doing it and trying to calm myself to start working the wave... baby steps haha

I have a question for you, how do I know if a barrel is it going to close me or is It going to open? Because now as soon as i see the barrel I get out of the wave Cuz i think it's going to close me

Pull in and hold on, see if you make it. You win some, you lose some!

Lift that nose with your claw grip. Stops you sliding out on super sucky waves. Combo sevo stall, stewart stall for that deep foam ball ride.

Secret of barrel riding - find a mechanical reef break, ride wave, get pitted. If surfing open beaches, keep your fingers crossed at all times
