Ikr lol. Some people don’t realize the word test in sobriety test. If u suggest to the officer something other than the test requires, you are losing points on the test already, while creating more suspicion for the officer to arrest you. But I’ll never understand why cops don’t skip sobriety tests n just do a breathalyzer test. It’s quick n easy n more accurate. No point of wasting peoples time, since in your average police stops the person is not driving drunk. We just see the vids on here of the ones that are.

The only problem with that logic and the reason the police do it this way here is because the breathalyzer only measures alcohol, not any other drugs or substances that cause impairment, someone on weed, meth, cocaine, etc are going to blow all zeros but are still impaired to not be able to drive. There's a specific reason for it, besides, the judges just let them go anyway. The majority of people don't know or think about it, they just have their opinions.

Have gotten pulled over without having my license on me a bunch of times in NY and it was never an issue. Cops have everything in their car computer, including your registration n insurance info. Only one time a cop gave me a ticket for not having my license on me, but it not a real ticket. All u have to do is mail a copy of your license with the ticket to them n there is no fine, it’s free. But I luv cops n always cooperative n friendly n cops never hassle me on routine stops. Even if I get a ticket I thanks them for their service.
