Yep look up lance storz mugshot. It’s mainly powerless individuals who do not have financial means to defend themselves. I got a settlement out of the pikeville pd back several years ago for arresting me on DUI without FSTs, PBT, or blood draw. They showed up to court with my check for $133,000, another one that was $67,000 for my lawyer and the officer “resigned” shortly after. Thanks to them I was able to purchase my home in 21’ for a total of 235k after closing cost with 20% down, it appraised at 371k this past July😊

But didn't he do this because the judge slept with his daughter? I don't doubt the corruption but I believe that was his reason
@barryc261
@barryc261 19 сағат бұрын
@@magdump4456 It was said, I believe in an affidavit, that after he shot the judge he said "They're trying to take my wife and kid from me!". Sounds to me that it's more likely that the judge was trying to help them get away from him. As with most domestic violence situations, the abuser doesn't think they've done anything wrong. In his mind the judge was trying to break up his family. Since, it's apparent that he's afraid of his of his own profession (probably because of his own actions as Sheriff), it's not a stretch that he would treat his own family the same.

It’s literally the go-to phrase that the majority of criminals use because they’re anxious, don’t want to be arrested, etc. They’ll also complain of chest pain in addition to shortness of breath because they think that if they go to the hospital it’s a “get out of jail free” card. Which is a joke, because they’re still going to be arrested, they’re just delaying the inevitable.

I’m a letcher county native, and knew both Kevin and Mickey pretty well. I grew up around Kevin, and he had always been kinda creepy. I lived a few houses down from Mickey and was always a very upstanding guy to me. There is a lot more to this story than is getting attention. I’m not saying the actions are particularly justified, but if the rumors are true, I understand his reasoning. The corruption in Letcher county is extremely widespread. From not only the people we have in office in town, but local business owners and town big wigs as well. I hope mickey does bring to light a lot of the underlying issues that we have, because this town does need a change.
