Inspired from your videos, Im just done with my "38 EUR" MCP. Was also about one year in the making, but I'm still on FSX PMDG 737. I designed my front and base plate out off PCB's then ordered them in china. It saved me all the mechanical work and a lot of wiring cause I soldert all the components in it. I had my issues by setting mobiflight up, but now everything works just as I want to. (except I can not program the speed display in mach) Thank you for those great videos, i enjoy them everytime. @@karlisk4 hallo, no for this I used eagle. And to be honest, I made some mistakes on the electrical design. But I could fix them with a few extra air wires. And don't daisy chain 5 led displays together, it won't work. I did split them in 3 now. The mechanical design however was a perfect fit 😀

Brilliant design and execution! I love the fitment and layers of panels to create the mounting layers for everything. One suggestion; get a red gel/filter and put it over each of the 7-segment displays. it will drastically improve contrast and readability of the displays. :D Cheers!

It's not $38 once I've bought a 3D printer and all the filament! lol 🤣. I've looked through your website and it's AMAZING! And I'll definitely be building one of these ASAP! Thank you for all your effort. The only thing I haven't seen, that I think might help, is a rough estimate of how many KG of each colour I'd need for a model (unless I've missed it). Because I'm gonna need to pick up the filaments when I buy the Printer you're making me buy. 😉 Thanks again. I can't wait to give this a go.

This comment probably popped up a couple of times and, here's my issue: I'm using a Creality Ender 3 Pro and even after removing the skirt cant seem to fit the LH Backplate on the bed in Cura. The RH Backplate "Small Printbed" files are perfectly broken up and it would be nice if that was the case with the Left side. The only solution I don't really fancy is rotating it 45degrees vertically however that ends up with a print time of 1day+ I've already began and printed the back boxes and would hate to have to drop the project because of this. Many thanks and best regards, Alan

This video is absolutely fantastic. Informative and a great inspiration to all us sim enthusiast. Excellent job. I will definitely keep an eye on this channel and Your web site I do have a question though. The surface of the cabinet and the knobs seems very smooth. Is that the case when looking up close? And what 3D printer do you use?

Hello, I think that is down to the printer. I love the finish and quality of the print on the CR10. I would say it's smooth, but I do print slowly to try and improve the quality, especially if I need to film the build. Kind Regards Karl

Great layput and efforts question why not using a PCF8575 or similar ? that would make it a bit easier on the hardware when using the i2c 16x modules

Sincs the release of pmdg 700&800 for msfs2020, decided to eventually build one. Completed and tested , but before completing the wiring a question on the 5v and 0v rails on the 2 Arduino's Your schematic shows these separate, but your video shows them shorted together. Please can you confirm which is correct. Many thanks. I enjoy all of your work... Mike

nice Video. Doesn't it make more sense to program the FlightDirector not to toggle but onPress=ON onRelease=OFF?

Why didn't you go with the same idea as the throttle handles? Inset the text then you could have sanded the surface smooth to get ride of the print lines. Paint it gray then use white wax stick rubbed over the letters (Love that idea BTW, Just watched your vid on that.) ??

Hello Tommy, That would work great and if people request it, i shall produce an engraved version. But pause printing and changing the filament would be much much easier!
