What ive noticed is that you need to be perfectly lined up with the target in ccrp for it to drop. Otherwise i cannot get it to punch off, has anyone found this as well?

Have there been issues recently with the bombs? They're doing weird stuff and not dropping, having issues doing CCIP and CCRP with dumb bombs too.

I don’t have a target in as a waypoint. And when I goes out of SP mode it wanders off and I have no idea where it’s pointing. How do I get it to be in SP and I can adjust from there?

If it wanders off like that, press CZ (Cursor Zero) this will put it back to your current steer point. Then use RDR cursor switch to slew it around to where you want. Hope this helps.

FYI to those who like dropping laser bombs flat the angle is 0 degrees

I'm annoyed with it as well. Bombs won't release unless the angle is absolutely perfect, which requires autopilot and perfect trimming... don't have that issue with the F18 CCRP

Something I found was if bombs aren't dropping, it could be some of the parameters in place. There might be an additional countdown after the original countdown.

I follow all the steps but the bomb won't release! One thing caught my attention! The laser code is displayed in the top right corner for you! But it doesn't appear for me. When I press the release button this laser code flashes! Can anyone help pls ?

How do i lock the target and bring the designator up down and to the sides

@Tristan_otto25 At 1:28. Make sure the TGP screen is SOI by DMS (Display Management Switch) switching down until you have a white box around the screen. Once it's SOI, you can slew the TGP around with RDR cursor switch. Lock with TMS (Target Management Switch) up.

I am doing everything you said but the bombs are not dripping what do I do?

Make sure you are holding the release button at least six seconds before the drop. Let the computer drop it. Then let go of the release button. Then lase the target. If you wait until the release cue hits the flight path marker they will not drop unless you press it at the exact millisecond that the release cue hits the flight path marker.

@@BogeyDope yeh I dunno what I’m doing wrong but master mode is on lazer is on I pressed and held wpn rel 6 seconds before and a while after and no bomb came off my wing I’ve been trying all night and the bombs just won’t come off

for some reason my TGP is showing "NOT TIMED OUT" got it in CCRP got laser and master armed, done everything right but the screen is all grey

in case no one responded to you or in case you haven't figured it out yet, "not timed out" is what happens when you turn on your TGP for the first time during flight. The TGP has to "warm up" and it takes about 5 min, then you can use it and slew it around to find targets :)

As of the making of this video early last year, yes. You did. However, now you do not. If you have the laser set to auto lase, it will lase for you automatically without having to hold the trigger.

I hate CCRP, but if I go to MAN mode the TGP cue goes away from the HUD and JHMCS…is there a way to bring it back without using CCRP mode??

When you say "TGP cue" what are you referring to? The release cue line??

@@BogeyDope no I mean the little square where the TGP is currently looking at. I can slew it around I just never know where it’s looking at (compared to CCRP mode where you can see the small square all the time thought HUD or JHMCS where the TGP is looking at)

@@BogeyDope I’ve gotten kills in MAN mode but it is a PITA because the F16 doesn’t show me what direction the TGP is looking at anymore as soon as I switch from CCRP to MAN

@@7Amps Yeah unfortunately, you can't do that in CCIP. CCIP is basically a "VISUAL MODE". Which is why they give you the IP pipper.

Man, I simply cannot launch CBU-97s in CCRP. I saw in this video that maybe I should hold the release button for 6 seconds, but no. It simply cannot drop them...
