Love the colors, as far as homesteading this is your new homestead and homesteading is doing all the work you can yourself. Have you thought about using pennies for flooring, I've seen it and it's amazing, I also saw where they took 2x4 and cut a 1/8" or 1/4'" and laid them down and clear coated them.

Thanks so much! Yes, I’ve definitely looked into that. We actually thought about it for the countertop, but Mr. Homestead was rooting heavily for the live edge countertop and tile in the bathroom. So we compromised! 😊🤣🌵❤️

Omgosh it looks awesome. It’s funny because my house is nothing close to desert vibes & my master bathroom is painted that darker teal color. Goes to show how paint can transform a room. Love it!
