I surmise that "Tombaugh (tom-bah)' refers to the astronomer Clyde Tombaugh that discovered Pluto in 1930 at Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Which, in turn, offers the question why the magnetic boots only work in pressurized areas, but not outside of those, like when climbing up the tower. Wouldn't the space suit have the option to turn the magnets on the boots on and off (as I assume they would use electromagnetism), or did they just decide that building the outsides of the towers out of amagnetic materials is a good idea?

Personally I have never understood either playing or not playing a game based upon the gender of the main character. Game looks awesome though looks like a little bit of breath a drawer Subnautica mixed with I can’t member the name of the game we played is that droid helping that lady but I watch almost all your videos so keep up the good work

Me neither. It's not like a bunch of guys had any problems playing as Lara Croft in the bad old days of 20 years ago. I think the problem these days is that the pudding has been a little bit over-egged, to the point where if you're not happy to play as an HIV-positive bisexual trans-llama, there's someone around to call you closed-minded. Quite understandable that there's a backlash against this. If the character is well realised and culturally/politically neutral, I don't think anyone's got a problem; if the character seems to have a political agenda behind being any one or more of black, gay or female, sensible people won't go near it.

OK, who else gets the "Soma" vibe from this? going from station to station while something is lurking out there. (I do not recommend that game to you Jingles, even though the story was pretty well done for a thriller/horror game)

At least Soma had a compelling narrative. This is just contrived bollocks with half-assed "puzzles". I don't know how it has "very positive" reviews on Steam but barely a 62 and 5.8 on Metacritic.

@@SecretRaginMan Yep, the first contrivance is, that mankind would work together like that by the 2030's, which isn't going to happen. The second, the fact that they would make the entire energy supply of the world dependant on the MPT network, with no backups and/or alternatives on Earth (like non-Helium 3 fusion reactors, nuclear reactors, solar, wind and water power, etc.). Those are just the most glaring issues with the basic gist of the story in DUTM.

@@jasonpress1230 That's too bad. I know it can be a bit frustrating at times (I've literally done over a dozen). The biggest issue I've found is that there are different variations for different models of Macs and you cannot deviate from the instructions no matter what the internet says... unless you know how to modify core files. The biggest issue I've seen with this is people trying to use a Windows USB install if they have a Mac with a DVDROM, and trying to install Win10 on a Mac that only officially supports Win8.1

Naturally, it is a game mechanic to force a sense of urgency. I agree on the matter that in real life, even for a type of emergency suit, as this one seems to be one, three minutes of breathable atmosphere would be a bit short. How actual EVA suits for the moon will probably look like in the future can be seen here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jKamhnh9rcyiZrc They are still quite bulky, though apparently much lighter with new technology.

It looks like the character has a stride that looks like magnetic boots are being used when you are walking around the station, I can see why that would be disabled outside (aside from the general lack of ferrous based metals to stick to). Having watched a few months ago the first video, I decided to invest my 23€ on the game BEFORE watching Jingle's video, so as to avoid spoilers. Just finished the whole game start to finish - Dear God, have I really spent 18 hours playing it? Very good game, I can recommend it. Lots of puzzle solving needed to get to the end. BTW, I think The Mighty one is playing a very easy level version of the game. My experience was that some of the action scenes were a damn sight harder to play! I look forward to seeing the rest of the videos, see what I missed.

@@NimbleBard48 I think he means the beer is really expensive. It is really expensive in Norway in general compared to other countries. If you live in Norway, there are many countries you can go to on longer trips and actually save money because of the difference in costs. The cost of one 0.5L Coca cola in a grocery store in Norway is 26.5 NOK, which equals 2.59 EUR or 2.87 USD, if i got it right. Again, that is a 0.5L Cola in a normal grocery store.

The last time I bought a pint (0.57l) of Guinness at a bar in Norway (I live in Bergen) I paid 128 NOK which roughly equates to $14, €12 or £10.5... So yes, very expensive. I also paid 17.55 NOK for a liter of gasoline today. That's £1.44, €1.68 a litre or $7.1 a gallon for our American friends. Keep in mind that the Norwegian Krone (NOK) is very cheap at the moment.

If I'd be working there I'd stop calling it the "Space Elevator" withing a day. As it's the only real elevator in the facility. And as you're going to be there for a considerable period, everything is going to be spacey for quite some time. You wouldn't call your sleeping quarters your "Space Bed" or use the phrase: "cooking in my Space kitchen" or sitting on the "Space loo". On the other hand, one might however when they'd returned to earth after their tour yell to their wife: "don't you dare throw away my Space toothbrush!"

because the Apollo mission was on the "bright" side of the moon....so in full sun. They would have to stay on the moon for a week or so before the sun set. Because of the brightness of the sun, I don't think the cameras back then would pick up starlight with the sun saturating the landscape

IIRC Apollo astronauts were able to see stars, but only if they used an improvised sun shield. I think the light bouncing off the surface of the moon would change as the sun moved, since you're moving the surface at an angle and you're getting the same effect that gives you seasons on the Earth. But I'm not sure.

Not only they said that they didn´t seen any stars, but you can´t find one single photo, taken "on the moon", where a star is visible. Check out the press conf and watch their demeanor when talking about it. I can be wrong, but something is off here...

These games seem to give you about three minutes of oxygen. Which is basically what you can get by holding your breath. So why none of them just say "you are holding your breath" escapes me.
