I know the combat sucks but it is funny seeing more dynamic diplomacy between the boys in Vicky 3. Also love the threat revolution poses to the incompetent players.

The most disappointing part is this combat had potential, they just didn't tie it in to the other systems. The game is all about logistics... Except for the warfare? That's just silly. Imagine if we had to build and maintain supply depots to feed our troops in certain areas, could target certain industries, built infrastructure to allow our army to move and stay supplied, planned around obstacles such as mountain ranges, etc. taking away stacks didn't make it bad, the fact that it's just unrelated to the rest of the game with little depth makes it bad.

⁠@@christophernoneya4635I will say that the homefront logistics is pretty solid. If you’re Britain and you don’t have a big enough navy, you are going to suffer. And if you’ve enabled all the mobilization options for your army, and you have a pretty big one, you could encounter huge problems just to get your economy to produce all the goods needed. So that part I’d say is pretty good. But when it comes to bringing stuff to the frontline, yes, it is weak.

Seems unlikely. The MP was horrendously unstable; it kept dysyncing. Also Vic 2 just isn't great at anything. Much worse warfare than HOI4, much worse economics than Vic 3. It's kind of this awkward middle child and it's really showing it's age.
