She's objectively bad here, though, even if she's stupid. She plays with guys' feelings, including Okarun, talks shit about him, spreads terrible rumours about Momo, and zip ties her wrists (painful and dangerous). Kinda hard to stomach at this point, making her seem less funny. But I'm guessing that she becomes more goofy and less genuinely harmful in the future.

I think it makes sense that she would dislike Momo given their first interaction, especially if she perceives her powers as demonic in nature. And I mean, dropping a wash basin on someone's head is also painful and dangerous. Spreading rumors out of petty revenge is awful but teenagers can be pretty mean in general. She doesn't seem much worse than your average anime bully, so far anyway.

The woman that Aira is calling "mom" just seems like a homeless person, imo. The dad at the beginning of the episode seemed to be pulling her away from the person, so I take it as young Aira got lost and accidentally called the homeless woman "mommy", which left a lasting impression on the woman. When she died, that desire to be wanted by someone, Aira, made her obsess over her as a spirit.
