Guys for your mental health, I think you should mentalize that this is a very relaxed anime and in a certain way "realistic" so do not expect too much high stakes, all conflict and drama is personal and about youth relationships, I know you are used to it to shows like Clanad and Bunny girl sempai, where in addition to romance there are super exciting evens and supernatural situations, but without spoilers, this show is just about youth romance and friendship, and how we can show our true selves to the people we care about. If you get used to that, I think you will enjoy each episode better.

So, I decided to start reading the original web comic, and that whole thing with the budget report was WAY different in that, as in, Remi (and especially Sengoku) would definitely deserve any and all hate given for that event. Remi did do the report herself there, but since she did such a terrible job that they had to scrap it, so Sengoku threw it away and told her that he'd make sure she wasn't held at fault for it. In the anime Remi was just an airhead, in the original Sengoku literally and knowingly set Hori up while Remi (and possibly Sakura, not quite sure) just kind of went along with it. Haven't gotten far enough to see to what extent they are humanized later on but still
