micro brands continuing to make the watches people want, because the bigger brands won't listen. im thinking about a monta atlas, because i simply cannot find a similar watch from a traditional brand. i really like that monta guarantees accuracy as well.

Fantastic review. I owned this watch and I agree it is fantastic - I really wanted to love it but I found it too small on my nearly 8" wrist. I gave it to my son with his 61/2" wrist and it looks perfect and he loves it. This is the ideal field watch for anyone with a smaller wrist 😊👍

Great proportion watch, great case but finding a non NATO strap that would match that textured titanium would be difficult. The 12 & 6 don't look straight to me. The 8 also has signs of glue on the dial (around the number).

Fantastic value for money! I absolutely adore this particular watch -- the titanium case makes it so comfortable, and the AR-coated sapphire case, and the awesome lume mean it's a clear winner indeed!

I owned this watch for a couple of weeks. The one thing I didn't like about it was that it didn't wear well if you didn't use a Nato. The lugs point down and dig into your wrist if you use a traditional strap. If the lugs were even with the case back, it would have been much more comfortable.

Got this model last month totally love it but the nato is indeed a determent to the watch, replaced it with an MN strap and it wears like a dream now

That's a field watch, they're bland. Actually the watch has a ton of features that are very useful in the field where animals don't care how bland the watch is.

I've got the Ventur first gen and LOVE it. My favorite quartz watch that's lightweight and out of the way at work. Lume is meh, but literally everything else is great. Picking up an automatic when they're on sale.

Try a single pass Nato or even better a stretchy paratrooper. I'm loving the paratrooper single pass straps on my watches right now.

Stretchy is great. I don't wear anything nowadays but stretchy. This watch has an obvious misalignment so I rather go with the Smiths PRS 40 with better specs for less money and a non microbrand name.

I'm 7 1/2" wrist and it fits great, but I have the 1st generation quartz model with a different case shape.

I picked up a venture earth, not the easiest to read dial but I don't mind looking twice. I'm enjoying the watch, checks mostly all the boxes, I may look into a titanium bracelet if I can find one.

I have both these watches, the 807 and the desert w/ the white dial. First off, you would think Ti would be lighter than SS, but my 807 weighs 59g whereas my Venture weighs 64g. Another unfortunate outcome of having the white dial is the arabics are NOT lumed so the lume shot of this one model is different from the lume shot of its 3 other siblings. Personally I like how the 807 wears on my wrist even though I'm wearing the Venture as I type this (gotta rotate through all the watches dontcha know...). Another minor niggle is the ghost date wheel, but that doesn't really bother me much. I think if Seiko had put the NH36 movement into the 807 I'd be pretty happy. Maybe that'll be the mod for that watch, along with changing out the crystal to sapphire.

Incredibly watch! Boldr are really getting it spor on with every detail lately. The one thing I miss on this watch is the date, but it's not a big deal considering the everything else it has to offer.

Great video... Quick dumb question, lol.. I apologize. Your the only one on KZbin I would take advice from. I have a UHF quartz watch and the date changes at 12 noon instead of midnight. I know this can be adjusted, just dont know how... any info would be appreciated. Thx so much

I'm not familiar with UHF watches, but I would think you set your watch wrong by 12 hours. Reset your watch. When the date changes, that's midnight. At least that is how it works on all of my watches with date complications. To be safe don't adjust the date if the watch is between 9 pm and 3 am. If you don't know how to set it, here is a quick guide to saying a watch(assuming the date is the only complication). Change the time to about 6pm (so you are out of the date change danger zone). Set the date to yesterday's date. Then agonist the time forward. When the date changes, they is midnight. Then set the time. If it's after noon when you are setting the time, advance the time 12 hours, then set the time.

Sadly on this example it is, and I am waiting for Boldr to send me a replacement dial. But QC issues like these do happen, even to the best of brands.

@@WatchGeek True, QC issues do happen to everyone, but one has to wonder though; "if they didn't even bother to send a flaw-free watch to someone who will review it on YT and so many people are going to watch it, why would they send me a good one?". I think they shot themselves on the foot with this one...

Downside for me: hands are too flat and sometimes not very good to read and the lume isn´t that great too. The SNX809 is a lot better on those aspects. Those are my complains, the rest is very good and totally agree, the case shape and size is really amazing and a lot better to wear than the previous(quartz) version.

The problem is most people buy cheap and stif NATOs so it ruins their experience. This one in video looks like a 2 dolar strap. Try a BluShark Alpha Perfit.

all of BOLDR's offerings are extremely amazing! Even the price is justifyable. Only thing I really really hate about BOLDR is the name, doesn't look like it can withstand the time. Is it Boulder? Is it Bolder? I dont think that they are bold enough to call themselves BOULDER which would've looked better than the hipster-letter-play-fad. I wish they will be mature enough to change their name soon.

It's a field watch, not many field watches have a date. Both my Tudor Ranger and Boldr Venture have no date and that's perfect.
