You obviously aren't a really football supporter; not only has El Hadji Diouf got a 1 in 2 scoring record for Senegal, but he is on the Pélé 100 list of greatest football players of all time. Just because his emotions get the better of him on the odd occasion, this simply shows that he has a flambouyance and drive to be a good football player...to be honest, I think the footballing world would be a better place with more players like Diouf in it.

@keithyboy313 In America we're completely and universally anti-taxation, as low as possible, yet for some reason for our teams we happily subject ourselves to temporary tax increases to fund stadiums. Oklahoma City has a million people, they wanted to get a basketball team, they passed a 1 year 1cent sales tax increase in this recession and raised 100 million dollars to fund a stadium in hopes of getting a team, and they got one. SPL should declare an emergency, pool revenue, and ask for a tax.

@keithyboy313 I don't support Celtic or Rangers but I want to see things get better between the fans,or at least civil. I support Hearts typically because my fathers fathers father played for them before moving to America, but their fans give them a black eye at times too. SPL plays decent football, but it's nearly impossible to appreciate the game with the dark cloud hanging over it so often. A dozen happenings surround the SPL annually that would be the scandal of the year here or in England.

@gwelsh123 Best thing that can be done is to keep saying that there is in fact a problem with the culture surrounding the game. I hate seeing ill meaning "fans" hijack the game from well meaning ones. I look to when Hibs and Hearts were still young and Hearts played matches against Hibs against regulation and helped them get accepted into the league. I don't see that happening in todays game. Easy to get caught up in the tit-for-tat but it's never too late to set a good example. :)

@gwelsh123 The overwhelming negativity surrounding the fixtures, the racism, and fans defacing property, and street fights, and firebombing players cars, and mailing bullets to people ect. Some fans will pay to see that, many will stay away and keep their children from attending, and few TV networks will pay well to air the matches, no further than Scotland, though. Not a very international brand, hatred is everywhere, but not marketable. Plus with only 12 teams there's only room for 2 winners.
