Bolts Law Incline, Lead Mines and Leaving No Trace

Beautiful views in Weardale and evidence of the industrial past of the area..... and me having a bit moan about the new outdoors folk that don't seem to get the ethos #LeaveNoTrace: The aim should be that nobody knew you'd been somewhere other than by photos or video....Not saying folk shouldn't enjoy the outdoors, but we live in a relatively small country, so we need to be very careful not to spoil it.

Nice film fella. I'm glad you said they DON'T KNOW how to behave. I think that's the point. When you're conditioned to live a certain way you need quite a bit of reprogramming to live another way. So many are discovering the great outdoors now without coming through the usual routes and I think it's our job to welcome them but also to re-educate them.

Its like the last place God made up there desolate but stunning. Couldn't agree more with what you said abot leave no trace its a sad reflection on humans when these places are despoiled.
