He faced a maximum of nearly eleven years in prison, but was subsequently acquitted of both charges.

@DaMixWizard I thought I already said this, but I must've posted it while replying to someone else, so I'll say it here too... At first I thought that pretty much ALL Nate Dogg's fans knew this, but then I figured it's probably just the people who have been fans ever since he first got famous. Because while most of us OLD FOLKS, who have followed his career as it was unfolding, heard about these things shortly after they happened, that doesn't mean that the younger fans, or people that might not have been listening from the beginning, would necessarily know about it. So yes, you're right that many of the younger fans, or the more casual fans probably weren't aware of those cases. Just like a lot of them might not know about the brawl between Tha Dogg Pound and BG Knoc Out, Gangsta Dresta, and a few other Ruthless Records affiliates that took place at a golf course in the mid-90's either. But I DO think just a copy-paste job from Wikipedia is kinda lame, especially if it's coming from an actual FAN. It just seems like someone who's into the artist, and who remembers the story, could just take a few seconds to type up the info in their own words. But oh well, whatever. If people who didn't know about it before, who find it interesting, do know about it now, then that's all that matters.

Salute to the Bomb1st fam, John, & Reggie. I think it's safe to say that David had too much responsibility on his hands. I think that's part of the reason in part how David ended up being accused of double dipping in stealing from Death Row. It also became a comflict of interest in some regards including Kenner representing 2Pac on the entertainment as well as the legal side. Hence why Kenner was fired by 2Pac. Suge was trying to do things right before he ended up in jail in the fall of 1996. It was too late at the time.
