I think maybe she is talking about how there is pressure on women from the government to not have an abortion and what it would be like if it was the same for men. But maybe she was talking about vasectomy or masturbation because she said to take care or them self as man do. I don't know. But I An curious too.

They need to have the conversation about the media dynamics at the time of how they treated Britney vs Justin and Justin's response and solo career after they broke up. Because Justin played into the media's hand as a victim and he did a few songs about Britney, basically calling her a "cheater" and a "liar"... That Dian Sawyer (sp) interview lives in my mind rent free with how horrible they treated BS.

Several years ago I got my gf pregnant, she was going to keep it but got an abortion without asking me. Not that she needed my permission, I'm fully "her body, her choice" and would've supported her either way, but I did feel hurt and somewhat betrayed that I wasn't even asked. It's her choice, but that's my kid too, I should've at least been asked how I'd feel about it.

Some people are easy to judge others when their not in that situation. Caring starts by making unselfish decisions on what's best for the child/the life you created and what risks and sacrifices your willing to take before moving forward with keeping the pregnancy. I've been in that situation, giving up college or be a good mother/parent to my unplanned pregnancy. I have no regrets keeping my now 13yr old son. I've sacrifices and gave up my supposedly fun 20s life. But instead I was a full time mother, full time college student, and a mother. Motherhood at 22 years old changed my whole perspective of life. It taught me patience, hard work, unconditional love for my kids, being a provider, responsibility, and most of all enjoying every moment with them as we all experience the journey of life. You just need to trust yourself that only you have the power to stand on your ground and be strong for the people you have reasons to live for. ❤😊 I stand with Britney until this day she chooses to endure pain to show love for her kids. That's what makes a mother and a strong woman. May God bless you in all aspect of your life. Everyone hungers to be loved. ❤ you don't need the world to feel loved as long as you have a few that truly loves you back ❤😊. Like Britney said, this book is not to stir or cause any drama, she's simply want to voice the truth and tell her story and be inspired or not. Yet, media is doing what it did 20 years ago, judging and pointing fingers like were so perfect. Show compassion and humility is what makes us human. Don't feed the world with negative remarks. Inspire or be inspired. 😊 ✌️ ❤

Certainly she comes from a broken family, where by succeeding, she becomes the breadwinner. I always believed that her relationship with JT and music were her joy and support. So when that relationship ended, everything started to go wrong for her. And now that we know more details, I confirm it. I sincerely believe that giving up her baby, is what broke her first, then the way the relationship with the father of her unborn baby ended and finally the way he exposed her in public for years. That was the begining of all her troubles and heartache. You may or may not agree with me, but that is my respectful opinion.

Exactly. The conservatives always paint the man like he wants to be a great dad, but in this case and a lot of cases, it's the man who doesn't want a child. What right does he have to make that medical decision for her? He, who will suffer nothing, and with total ignorance of pregnancy and what going through a home abortion/miscarriage even entails, gets to decide? Justin's sitting there playing a song while she's in so much pain she can't move and bleeding profusely. God, what an idiot boyfriend. What right does anyone have to ***someone else's*** medical condition, either insisting they continue it or end it, when only the patient bears all the sacrifice and lifelong consequences? This should be a no-brainer question: none! Pressuring/forcing a woman to do anything with her body is a violation. Even if a man hires a surrogate to carry his baby and pays her, signs a contract, he still doesn't have any right to overrule any of her decisions about her own body.

Yeah, I think they missed the point, too. They were still in a relationship. He could've told her that they're too young to have a child now, but they will have children in the future. @@LucienWhite-fb5qk Lynx2cross was trying to say: that Britney and her family, could afford & support a baby, without needing help from the baby’s daddy (regardless of if her family controlled her money) If Britney was pregnant way back, they’re not gonna hold back money and punish Britney and her baby. Britney made more money than 99% of the American public, so financially, she did not need to have the father of the baby in the picture or not. (most Americans don’t have that luxury) (that’s the point he was trying to make) - The point Lynx2cross was making, had nothing to do with Brittany conservatory scandal. It’s one thing if she wanted to buy a Porsche or Lamborghini at age 18, and then her parents could withhold the money for that. Sexual encounters carry the risk of pregnancy. If you absolutely don't want a baby, then maybe one should not be having sex. People just feel like everyone should be having sex these days. I heard a man say, if he isn't getting sex by the third date, he is moving on to the next girl. Their is so much pressure to have sex on dates. My mom had me out of wed lock. The man left her to raise me alone. She could have aborted me, but she didn't and once told me that I was the best mistake she ever made. The pain tho, of my biological father not claiming me effected her until the end of her life. at age 85.

It's her business, but I don't think she was even ready when she had her first child a few years later. I think Britney's parents did a number on her. When she was ready to have a child years later, her father who controlled her life, wouldn't allow her to remove her birth control. I agree with Joy. Whether to keep or end the pregnancy should ultimately be up to the person that is pregnant. The impregnator's responsibility/choice is before the deed is done. @@tiffanyblue1938 Not really. I think it's a good analogy. A gift belongs to the gift giver, just like the sperm belongs to the impregnator. Before they give the gift or sperm to the other person, they have every right to decide whether or not to give it to the other person. Once both give it to the other person, it is no longer something they have control or say over. What you are talking about is when the child is developed and is born. That is parenthood. In her book, Britney says this decision still haunts her because she was in love with Justin and she wanted to have his baby. Because of her celebrity, she couldn't even go to a clinic. She took pills at home and waited for the labor pains to start. She said it was excruciating. And all Justin did was sit nearby and play his guitar. On top of all that, after they broke up, he painted her as a harlot in that Cry Me a River video. 😔 I've always been told that a man makes a decision whether or not to have a child, when he slips inside of a woman unprotected. Whatever happens after that is up to the woman.

OMG😢, Britney is definitely misunderstood. She was dealing with a lot behind the scenes and broke; she was alone with no safe place. The one time she lashed out, showed vulnerability and reacted, like we would typically when put in her position!!!, we judged her too quickly, we couldn’t give her the benefit of the doubt, we all caused her conservatorship. Omg!!! We owe her a Big Apology.

They weren't labor pains. You don't go into labor and experience repeated contractions when you take the abortion pill. The abortion pill will only end a pregnancy if you take it very early on in your pregnancy - when the fetus is less than 3.5cm. It releases a chemical that stops the pregnancy from progressing and causes your uterus to empty. The symptoms are cramps and blood to come out. Totally different than labor when you experience contractions and a human body comes out. (And no, I've never had an abortion - but I think it's important for people reading this and weighing their options to understand that the abortion pill doesn't look or feel anything like giving birth.) And in her book, these were her exact words about what Justin did while she was cramping: "At some point he thought maybe music would help, so he got his guitar and he lay there with me, strumming it."

In a perfect world it would be a joint decision, but we live in a world that hurls all the blame and responsibility of a pregnancy and child rearing on women so the choice is part of the package. As for the man's decision in this imperfect world, his choice ended as soon as he made his nonreturnable deposit. Surrendering his decision on whether or not he gets to be a father is part of having sex irresponsibly, I agree with Sunny's father in law, a man should never have sex with a woman he cant see being the mother of his children. If more boys were taught just that, we'd have a lot less abortions.

To be responsible you should consider these things in advance when choosing a sexual partner (or else you, they, and the potential future child must live with the consequences). Once she's pregnant then it is sensible to discuss the options and for both parties to voice their preferences. The woman must not be coerced, threatened, or manipulated during this discussion. Ultimately the woman makes the final decision. For those stuck on that final point, here is why. Biologically there are stages to having a child. The biological stage for the man ends on conception. For the woman this is where it begins. The man had full control of his options right up to the moment that his stage ended. However, biologically, the woman still has time to make a decision.

Britney was fragile and immature. Justin took advantage of this and manipulated her. She didn't want to kill the baby. HE was the one who convinced her to do it. She regreted it immediately. I'm deeply sorry for this woman. She has been mistreated by the people who should care about her and she couldn't complain because people would say "well, you're super rich, why aren't you happy?" and has even lost her civil freedoms for thirteen years. It's a miracle that she's still alive and healthy.

For many generations no legislation has been made if a man made a woman pregnant without her consent. When the woman then finds out that she is pregnant, it should be a criminal act and sexual assault if the man has not learned to protect both from precisely making the woman pregnant. Men should learn that it is a crime to make women pregnant and should understand the seriousness of this type of crime which can have serious consequences. Men were to be threatened with imprisonment for impregnating women without their knowledge and consent. It can have traumatic consequences.

The man should be entitled to an opinion, because it would also be his child - a child he would still be legally and financially responsible for whether or not he is ready or even wants that responsibility. That opinion will however be *weighted* with the woman's choice being paramount. That said, if the woman wants to have the child and the man doesn't, there out to be a way for him to legally or financially opt out of that!
