Bon Jovi | Live at Madison Square Garden | Z100 Acoustic Christmas | New York 1994

Contrary to many sites stating it, this wasn't one of the Z100 Jingle Balls yet, this show still was billed as "Z100 Acoustic Christmas". Bon Jovi played a great all-acoustic set and the rumour has it that Green Day got pissed afterwards since the Jersey boys stole the show and many locals left after their performance. Jon goes all in at the end of Always! The video wasn't complete at the end of Please Come Home For Christmas, so a still picture was used to bridge the gap and keep the full audio intact.
Video was restored in VirtualDub (especially in terms recreating lost colour information), audio was remastered and partly re-synched as well.

My favourite has always been the third night at Wembley on 1995, with that extra verse of “through the wind, through the snow, through the pouring rain, I’ll crawl over all baby, baby, baby... to be back on your arms, just to taste your kiss, just to hear you say, are you alright on a night like this”. My preference may have to do with the insane amount of times I’ve seen that performance...

Did you mean Green Day was pissed that the fans missed a great performance by Bon Jovi because they were the last act? If so, I would assume that Green Day had a really good performance and to the fans Bon Jovi wasnt obviously Alternative or Punk music. I would think Alt fans would view Bon Jovi as one of the hair bands from the 80s. I guess my 15 yr self back in the day might see that view and catch the LIRR back home.

Billie Joe came out completely naked cuz the audience wasn't giving him the reaction he wanted. This after he cursed everyone out. He was forever banned from the Garden. He was pissed and Courtney Love..She was very vulgar to the audience too. I was there.

Green Day was at their top of popularity cause of Basket Case and all his shit. thats why BJ opened for them. when the band finished their set people went away with them. after show the Green day boyz trashed their camerine shouting "dont ever do us play after this men again"

Bootlegging wasn't easy back in the day. Nobody had smart phones with video cameras. The camera was on the house screen which was the best close up shot of that time.

@@hAnD90 So true.. I used to sneak in a 35mm in a binocular case and put it together inside. Taking pictures was really hard..videos even harder. I give this person a lot of credit. Hands alone will make you crazy. Every one feels the need to put their hands up for some reason. Drove me crazy. But I got my shots.

@@jnc121978 Not every show had video screens back then. When you were up close there was more security to worry about. Especially if you had a professional camera like I did. Once they saw me that was it. I'd sneak some but it wasn't easy once you were caught. I only took photo's. I have great Bon jovi photo's. Two I got Jon to sign. He said he liked them. I'm friends with his former photographer still. She never got to keep them. She had to hand over the rolls after a shoot. I was at this show. I have pictures.
