"You wore Bon Jovi shirts, I wore Run DMC." It took some people time to realize it but you were both right! Back in the day I never limited myself to a particular genre. Good music was good music no matter what the source. From Run DMC & Beasty Boys to Bon Jovi & Motley Crue, there was good music everywhere you turned! The 80's was a glorious time for music!

One of the cast members of the movie "Young Guns" (Emilio Estevez) asked if they could use this song in the movie Young Guns, but Bon Jovi said it really didn't fit with the type of movie that it was (Western) and wrote Blaze of Glory for the movie. If you like this song, you'll really like Blaze of Glory too. Bon Jovi did allow them to use Wanted Dead or Alive in the movie "Young Guns II". Thanks for the reaction guys and happy New Year!❤

I live 2 towns over from where he does so I know,he has multiple little restaurants in Monmouth County NJ where he serves gourmet meals to the less fortunate, you can get a 3 coarse.meal and just make a donation if you can,it could be $5 ,he doesn't care. Possibly the ultimate summing up of life on the road. The audience don't care what's happening in your life, they just care you turn up & perform. If you dead, if you alive, don't matter, just as long as you're THERE! A similar song is "It's a Long Way (To The Top If You Want To Rock N' Roll) by AC/DC. Talking of the madness of life on the road - having to prove yourself every night, playing to 3,000 or 3 (and a dog - not a dog owned by anyone in the building, just a random dog (long story, don't ask)). Turning up somewhere to be treated like princes, only to go out to an empty room. Getting pulled out of a nice warm tour bus at 3am to pass through customs - no time to dress, they'll take you in your Y's just as happily as if you're fully dressed - heck, if they plan on cavity searches, they probably prefer you in your Y's. Turning up somewhere unexpected, having to argue that you booked the venue months ago. Turning up somewhere you expected to be a quiet gig, only to need baseball bats to keep the groupies off before you can get into the venue. Life on the Road. It Can Get Crazy Out There... La, Che, Happy New Year to the both of you, and to those you care for. Warmest Regards... G
