Stevie Ray Vaughan and Stevie Wonder were good friends. Stevie Wonder sang at SRV's funeral. It was heartbreaking and there wasn't a dry eye in the house....

I lived in Dallas at the time and have visited his grave several times in the past. He’s an icon. Nobody like him.

SW named off several of the performers in that outro. Definitely mentioned Salt-N-Pepa. I have never seen this before and what a crazy wall of funky jam pop goodness and I deeply love the original song, but everybody there just added so much. That was great.❤

Actually,, Stevie Ray Vaughan had done his own cover & video in 1986,, It's a MUST SEE video with a surprise ending. This performance is after (1988) & The artist on bass is Prince's bassist (Mark "Brown Mark" Brown)
@jenniferfoster1692Күн бұрын
Thank you for confirming that, I thought it was Brown Mark!

He was going nuts on that bass. I knew it must have been someone I knew just couldn’t get a good look
@jenniferfoster169221 сағат бұрын
@@anthonydawson8080 Yeah, same. I immediately thought it looked like him but it was blurry. Very cool he was playing with those greats! Obviously anyone who played with Prince is a badass musician, you had to be incredible to play with him.

Kudos...only 2nd time I've seen this on reactions....& of course this was rehearsed. The caliber of talent can create a spontaneous individualistic joy that blends into a perfect bop...seeing SRV add the most funky fills. Wonder getting carried away, and the rest clearly having the time of their lives is a treat. Thx
