How can you say anything bad about this guy? One of the most musical guys I've heard and an incredible group of musicians behind him. There are many who play music but few who ARE the music.

LovingAtlanta; You're SPOT ON! - The very first time I saw Joe on the net, I was seriously struck by the almost 'uncanny' resemblance to my late childhood friend Emil, - coupled with the same same kind of soul - smarts, humility, humor and musical talent, Joe - in MY mind, will always remind me of my dear departed childhood friend! - And; Joe IS HERE TO STAY!!!

The fact that seeing Joe Bonamassa live instilled me with the same energy and buzz I had seeing bands like Iron Maiden, Kiss and Motley Crue is a testament to what Anton said about Joe bringing Blues to a stadium level. Not to mention some of the songs like John Henry being the heaviest songs I've ever heard, and I listen to slayer! Joe Bonamassa is a fucking god.

4.10.2014 Vienna, as I saw the concert of Joe and band, I still can´t figure out why many people does´nt know Joe? (Europe) which is good, :-) so we, the real fans of Joe still can buy concerttickets without staying days in line :-) but then again Joe deserves it to be recognized by the whole world for what he is achieving. He inspires his fans, just by beeing Joe, so I will be a fan for ever, why? cause If you´ve got the Joe Bonamassa-virus, its for ever, sinceresly yours Johan Austria

He belongs to a quite unique grupo of musicians. He is in the club with Gary Moore, Ed Wynne (ozric tentacles) Ritchie Blackmore, Beethoven and a few others. He is capable to touch people with his music and leave a mark in our souls. And by the way, WHAT A VOICE!!

Great account of , and testament to, Joe's extraordinary talent. However, I take exception with what Lee Thornburg said about the Syracuse music scene. "White bread"? Maybe. Syracuse is a Blue Collar , working class city of 250,000 that has always had a GREAT music scene. When Joe was starting out "the Blues" was all over Syracuse. Great guitarists like Phil Petroff, Morris Tarbell, Kelly James, Hans Stuy, Jimmy Murphy, Terry Mulhauser, Roosevelt Dean, Mark Doyle, Greg Spencer and many more.

Today's economy hasn't helped live music anywhere, but Syracuse still has a great scene. Our FREE Blues fest has run into trouble lately, but it drew artists from all over the world. Those of us that knew the very talented Lee Thornburg when he attended North Syracuse Central High knew he was going places. He went to the the left coast and never came back. He missed a lot.

A blues guitar player sold out The Royal Albert Hall and three other London venues in just one week... proof that music industry 'execs' only really know about what Justin Bieber or 1D fans want... in other words sweet FA about music! Truly inspiring documentary!

14 million people live in London, those venues hold about 12,000 people between them..not a tough job for an established recording artist to sell them out. Plus quite a few people would be at all the shows..

I am going to see Joe in Dayton's Fraze. I would love to show him my sci-fi song which started about a year ago watching a PBS station. A lady who wrote a lot of books said she starts to write a book that it is really bad at first, ugly, but then it blossoms. She is right. To me, it gives you direction on song lyrics.

Joe Bonamassa is an amazing guitar player. He is almost as good as Gary Moore. In fact he plays a lot like Gary. He plays with a lot of feeling like Gary did. I just wish Joe would give Gary some credit and acknowledge Gary Moore's great talents. I'm very glad Joe is carrying on the great tradition of electric rock/blues like Gary played. It is wonderful to hear.

With all due respect, Eric Czar and Kenny Kram deserve more credit for Joe's early career. The Borderline show was good, but Eric and Kenny deserved to play that gig. They were more than just a support group. They elevated Joe. I don't know the state of their relationships nowadays, but they were the best iteration of Joe's music in my opinion.

so, how "one man" beat the industry... look, I am not one to nit pick about small details but the whole entire documentary describes how the "three men" made efforts to 'beat the industry' and how many people contributed to the success. Although I do not doubt Joe's Talent is amazing and stands alone (and alone could beat the industry), the title almost makes me scratch my head how I see how this was a family run business. Oh well, great documentary anyways...
