I knew that there was lyrics to Bonanza. In 1991 I got married at church of the Ponderosa. The song they played when we walked back down the isle was Bonanza.

I recall an episode of Cheers, where Norm, Cliff and others sang the Bonanza theme. Their version went something like: "We got a right to pick a little fight, Bonanza. Anyone of you want to fight with us is gonna fight with me."

This is the line from the lyric I was always taught. It appears as well in one of Uncle John's Bathroom Readers.

I remember seeing a video of the shows stars singing the theme. Adam (Pernell Roberts) sings a line something like "Wouldn't want to be anyone that's not one of us... Bonanza". I've only seen it once and that was a long time ago.

Sunday night in front of the TV, legs crossed on the floor - that burning fire that started on a spot in the map of the Ponderosa........waiting for Little Joe to enter the scene. Saw Lorne Greene many moons ago at the Mississippi Valley Fair - he's got a great voice!
