theITproductions1 They’re super docile, even more so than our pythons. The only time people are bitten is when they actually GRAB the snake and squeeze as they try to catch it. You can swim amongst them without worry, they’re not concerned at all.

If you go to amedee lighthouse/island in New Caledonia, there are literally like 3 sea snakes every square meter, and most people arent even worried about them, as they are too small to bite humans. Yes they are deadly venomous, but they generally don't attack humans unprovoked.

Well, as an American, I have to say that is true! I live in the province of Ohio. We used to have rattle snakes here, but not anymore. And, that's _Not_ because we picked them all up and asked them nicely to leave! Bruh it was a wobbegong shark they don’t even bite people. Sea snakes are really timid and so are sting rays. Sting rays are like bees because it is painful for them to sting and it takes ages to regrow the barb
