Edit of the edit: Literally this one comment has brought me so much happiness that no one not even my closest friends would ever show. Ever sense people started giving me unworthy support on this comment I have gotten so much motivation then I ever had before. I am currently in 6th grade and studying biology, math, physics, and medical procedures in my free time and I'm learning a lot. Thank you so much for the support and I hope you guys know you just changed a person 2 months ago was about to drop his dream of becoming a vet and made a stupid comment about the show to a person who is instead of being lazy is being productive in their spare time. All I have to say is thank you.

Great video, as always! Drs Chris and Andrew are so caring. I know nothing about pigs, and am not a vet, but have taken care of a lot of animals. I'm wondering if installing a hard surface, such as cement, in part of the pigpen, would help keep their hooves trimmed, so this doesn't happen again. If they were fed on it, I think they would walk on the hard surface, keeping their nails trimmed. Their owners would have to check with Dr Chris first, of course. Just a thought...

Pigs are extremely intelligent, I believe they currently rank as 5th most intelligent of all animal species and they are the most intelligent domestic animal. Some tasks they have even been know to outperform Chimps. They are also highly empathetic, very loyal but also deadly if you get on the wrong side of one! They're a lot of hard work and not suitable pets for everyone but they are incredible creatures regardless.

exactly what i was wondering, cause that's been used on this show on a venomous snake. i don't think he could chew through thick plastic LOL :}
@infinitecuriosity92104 жыл бұрын
Clifford Kintanar how can they not know this, I think he just wants to look tough or something, it's reckless and stupid.
@Lunalightqueen4 жыл бұрын
actually, it can make a snake go into a high stress, and if the tube not big enough won't go in and fight causing issues like biting itself or humans who are handling it. If the tube is too big then the snake can move right through it and the person at the other end holding it can get bitten. These snakes we see are over 3-5 feet long and round size its about 3-4 size if you are not careful about finding the right tube someone can end up with a nasty bite. Plus some snakes grow well over 18 feet, yes I know those are more for bigger snakes but it just shows you that you can't always but a snake into a tube. It's easy just to grab the snakes with a hook and pin them to prevent any biting.

So that Mami and Opi can walk around and have a better quality of life. They say the hey love them. So why not put the concrete floor. Well done Dr Chris.

Snakes that eat other snakes (namely Kings) normally go senile at old age and can mistake themselves as food. It was rough at age 17...now I need my left done at age 37. I was also born with my issue. But rather than my knee cap staying out of place continually..they slip out of place randomly frequently. My left was mostly stable until recently. Not looking forward to having surgery on it & spending 6-10wks with my leg straight in a brace. I wish humans could recover a fast as dogs!
