While growing up, this used be my favorite item for breakfast. I am from Bangladesh, basically a 'Bengali' as well. I could connect with so many things like: Bhoger Khichuri, Ilish maach, luchi, dalna and all that. I really admire the efforts you guys are putting. So a huge hug from a 'Bong' from Bangladesh. :)

My bengali husband immensely loves potatoes fried this way. I wanted to make this for him. But when I looked up on some other channels i found out that they have made the same in a much shorter procedure as compared to yours. So, i got to being lazy and did the same. Now I know why you guys have some extra steps as compared to the others. Slicing the potatoes and then cutting matchsticks gives a much better texture as compared to grating them directly. Drying the potatoes before frying also makes a huge difference. I have been a fan of this channel ever since. Keep up the good work. 😊
