Bonnie Owens is just the best country singer. I heard Merle say that without Bonnie he might not be singing today. She was great. May they both RIP and I still can enjoy the music. Bonnie gave him stability and confidence to grow as an artist and was always his best friend, forgiving him always. I can see how her voice found a place in his heart, totally unique.

He had 38 number one hits and wrote 34 of them and could sing like other artists better than they sounded themselves. lol. He was a true genius.
