Do you have any suggestion on how to attach to a kayak because I don't want to have to run back to my truck every time I launch and retrieve.

I have this cart. I have a 2019 Old Town Predator PDL. Works great but toss the ratchet ties and replace with 2 buckle straps. Use one on the front support rail and one on the back rail (one on the left one on the right opposite sides) This will help with collapsing. Take the rubber kickstand bumpers and slide them up and out of the way, this will help with catching in the sand and on roots etc. Good for the money, dont over think it and its a good buy.

@@TahoeYakFisher Do you keep the tires after you go in the water ? or you remove them when they go in the water ?
@TahoeYakFisher10 ай бұрын
@andreasspyrou7688 I do take the cart with me. However, I got rid of the sand tires... honestly not worth the hassle. They lose air, they only work a little better than regular, solid, no air tires. If the beach is just sand, no rocks, I just drag the yak through the sand on its hull. The sand is harmless. I bought the Bonolo solid tires and cut the axles down to fit, worked great!

I have a old town 120 pdl with a w hull so i don’t think it will fit because it has no bunks. Am i right? I like the sand tires.

I am sure it would work one way or another. There are a couple pictures in the Amazon reviews of the cart, slightly modified with PVC and pool noodle to make it fit an Old Town Topwater.

@@TahoeYakFisher but the Malone Wide-Trac cart has the bunks incl, is stronger, and is $30 cheaper. Only downside is it doesn't fold without partial disassembly

@@BobBohner4851 I assume you meant $30 more, $180 is the cheapest I see the Malone cart with the "bunks". That looks like a great cart, I'm not sure how the weight ratings are determined but both are up to the task of moving a kayak. I like the Bonnlo kickstand better, if you look close they are the same pieces but assembled differently. I did find this Malone cart, just now. Had I seen it I would have gone that route. My cart may get those "bunks" but I will DIY them, as I enjoy the project. www.target.com/p/malone-clipper-trx-deluxe-kayak-and-canoe-cart-with-balloon-wheels/-/A-81880110?ref=tgt_adv_XS000000&AFID=google_pla_df_free_online&CPNG=Home%2BImprovement&adgroup=85-9

@@BobBohner4851 Those aren't the "balloon tires", if you don't need the balloon tires that style of cart can be had much cheaper.
