I love this episode so much. The young man brought good specimens of conifers for shaping, and you are so patient with him, and with great devotion you give him instructions on how to shape the trees. This episode made me very happy. You have made an absolutely beautiful tree out of this pine tree. And hinokis are more than beautiful specimens after wiring and trimming. A big THANK YOU for this episode.

All my 1-2-1 sessions are different but the aim is always to impart good technique ; how to think and above all how to enjoy bonsai.

Extremely good teaching bonsai video with Peter with a very keen young man to learn, the Juniper if he had bought it like that in a garden centre it could have passed as a bonsai without any work, but of cause Peter and the young man Have improved the look with very little work, as they have done with the other trees all looking credible bonsai. One happy young man who will never forget his time with Peter Chan.

Mr. Chan, thank you so much for being such a wonderful teacher and a great inspiration. My son reinvigorated my passion for bonsai about a year ago and one of the first things I did was search KZbin for videos on the subject. All of your videos are easy to understand well thought out and organized and really show how rewarding the hobby can be. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, tricks and Enthusiasm on the subject.

Excellent video! Working with Bladley showed us non professionals your, and his, thought process. I have only recently gotten into nursery stock so the patience and explanation are appreciated...and the bag trick is decent. Not in the UK, but still love your content, Peter. Thx
