Sir what is the solution you use on the parts after cutting. and what is the soil mixture you use.
@BonsaiIligan9 жыл бұрын
sijo sebastian To preserve the dead parts after carving I apply with anti fungal called "lime Sulfur". that is imported from Japan. The live parts after cutting I apply sealant to prevent dehydration, also imported from Japan but they are expensive I use many substitute like an ordinary office glue. You can use clay, shoe polish, paint etc.. My soil mixture when I am rooting a material is pure coarse river sand. But if the roots are established already I top up the river sand with compost. The soil principle is that coarse sand facilitates drainage and aeration promoting root growth and when there are roots already you need nutrients. Meaning you can use almost anything when there are roots already. The two things to remember when your bonsai has established roots is drainage and fertilization.

I know you sell some of your trees they probably sell in the thousands.

I haven't sold any of my large trees, rather the medium to small only. Its cheap here in my area as it is not economically progressive.
