I enjoyed The Highwaymen. I knew about how the 67 film made look Frank Hamer look like an inept fool. Frank Hamer was far from a fool. Costner and Harrelson worked well together.

GLADYS HAMER sued the 1967 production of Bonnie & Clyde and was awarded a out of court settlement for defamation of Frank Hamer in 1971

WOW- I just saw your previous video re: Bonnie & Clyde and was blown away! As someone who holds an M.A. in the Science of Modern History, I just thought it was spot on- REALITY, not made up stuff to contribute to the ‘romanticization’ of B &C. And now you have this historian talking about how things REALLY happened and in the previous video, it’s quite close to what was presented here. Thats the trouble with period movies of the 60'sand 70's. They were devoid of facts despite being based on a historical perspective and its taken 60 years of historians trying to provide the real facts to a Countrie's really poor education system.
