I always love watching your book hauls! You really take the time and explain what the book is about! I read Shadow of the Fox early this year and loved it! Can’t wait for book two! I’ve been loving all the Harry Potter watch stuff! I read the series for the first time at age 40 and now I’m rereading them on audio and it’s an awesome experience! Highly recommend!

I am so glad you enjoy them! This was my first time reading the Harry Potter books too and I have absolutely loved them and the movies! I am already looking forward to rereading them in the future.

I don't think I knew Bird Box was a book until I watched the movie or maybe a day or two before I watched it. I wasn't sure what I'd think of it before watching it but it was pretty good. It kept me wanting to watch. I don't remember what I rated it on imdb but thinking about it now, maybe a strong 7/10. 🙂

I have the Mina Lima Illustrated editions of the first two Harry Potter books and I took the pottermore house quiz because I thought I was like Xander a Griffindoor but I'm actually a RavenClaw

I've been wanting to get into Brandon Sanderson. I wonder though..since Skyward is the first in a series; then you shouldn't need to read any of his other books. I think I might get this book as a birthday treat to me.

So many amazing books. I agree I think I like the blue Pride better. Damsel is beautiful but so far I have not heard one good review on it so I am interested to hear what you think. The Wren Hunt sounds good I have that on my list! I have wanted to read some of Brandon’s work as well but not only the size of the books but also the size of each series is intimidating I agree with you on that! I would love to try one of his adult fantasies as they are so hyped but if I like it then I’m committed to reading the rest and I am not prepared for that just yet! Haha Clinton would love Witch of Willow Hall !!! And I know he was hoping to read it before he went to Salem. I wonder if he got around you it. I am also interested in that one but again I have not heard too many great reviews on it which is sad. Oh bird box movie was so good and one day I would also love to read the book! VERITY! I have had so many people suggest that book to me. So many that I thought I would just get it on audio book so I could get to it right away but I can’t sesm to find it on my audiobook apps at all. So i hope to get my hands on it soon! Great haul video! Happy reading!

I am sad to hear that Damsel is getting such low reviews. It really is such a beautiful cover. I know what you mean about the Brandon Sanderson books. I have thought f reading one of his adult fantasies as well, but I am in the same boat as you. The size of the books as well as the series is intimating and I feel like it would take forever to get through that series while also being able to read other books. Verity is one of the books that I am most excited to get around to. I keep hearing nothing but good things about it, so I am really excited to read it!

@@CompletelyMelanie Oh I can't wait to hear your thoughts on Verity. I have looked for it and the only place I can find it is Amazon or Book depository. I have looked even at my local bookstore (Chapters.. the Barnes and Noble of Canada) and its not there not sold in store or online!!!!!.... I can only find like discussion booklets on the book etc so it must be really really well done. It is not on audible It is not on scibd nor is it on my library audio book app! lol So I may have to break down and buy it from one of those two places or maybe on my kindle.... But perhaps its a book I want the physical copy of you know!.

Great video! So many books! I haven't read fantasy but I am planning to read Girls of Paper and Fire this month. I hope I like it because I have bought other fantasy books even though I don't even know if I like the genre. I laughed our loud when you said who needs three cats when you can have one with three heads. I have just started reading graphic novels. Read my first one last night. It was Creepshow by Stephen King and I thought it was just ok. I have several more on order and again not even sure I like the genre. :) I loved Verity by Colleen Hoover. It was my first book by her. If I remember correctly, I gave it 5 stars on GoodReads. That's great that Zander wants to read the Bird Box before he watches the movie. Bird Box is really good! There are differences between the book and the Netflix movie though I enjoyed both. I hope you get to feeling better soon. Take care of yourself.

Thank you so much! I think that is really cool that you are trying genres outside of what you normally read. I haven't read Paper and Fire yet, but I have heard it was really good. I have only just started reading graphic novels this past year. Some of them I have really liked and others I haven't really cared all that much for. It really just depends on the story I guess though I like the artwork too. My favorite graphic novel series so far has been I Hate Fairyland, but I also like Space Battle Lunchtime and Giant Days. I have also read Morning Glories and Snotgirl, but I didn't really like either of those. I am so glad to hear that you liked Verity. I am really excited to get to that book. It just sounds so good! Yeah, it isn't often that Xander asks for a book, so when he does, I try to get it right away. After reading the back of it, it sounds like something I would enjoy reading as well. I am much better now. Thank you! I actually prefilmed this before we moved into our new house so that I could pack those books up so I have had plenty of time to recover. :) I am so glad you enjoyed the video!
