Really glad you enjoyed it! You can absolutely still apply this to a book that’s live. You can still run a free promo, discount your book, run ads and such. So even if your book is live Just go through the launch process with it!

My fear is getting blocked from Amazon after a book goes live. Changing price might get the book blocked by Amazon. I've seen lots of complaints from people getting books blocked after they have changed price, book cover or anything

This is not something I worry about. Amazon allows you to make all these changes. Why would they allow it if it’s not okay? There is nothing wrong with making changes, I have done it many times. The only issue that may come up is if you are making problematic changes. But if you’re just making normal changes, this won’t be an issue

Can a good book with good keywords but bad launch be revived?

Yes of course. What I sometimes like to do is just relaunch it. Keep it live but do everything that a launch requires. Maybe do a cover revamp, discount the book, run a free ebook promo and run some ads to the paperback and boost the sales to it.
