Thank you... What is vitally important is the meaning of God's name to cause to become... our Creator... Anointed... with The Whole Spirit of Love...which is Love, Joy, Faith, Kindness, Mildness, Goodness...with Patience and Self Control not to sin or hurt or abuse another for Peace... with God and Self for Peace with others via a quiet conscience with The Holy Spirit of Peace...Love Anointed... The Most High name... The Light of this world for enlightenment of Love Anointed in us, in our body which is The Temple for God's Love to dwell... or not...because if we are not embodied with the Whole Spirit of Love Anointed we are in grief, stress, hurt, trauma, sickness and pain...which God promises to remove every tear and death and mourning will be no more...the former things have passed...as our grieving process is completed as grief, hurt and painful sin truths are mourned... as victim or perpetrator...as both need mourning for healing...which is Love...not fear... Love brings two together as One ... Y fromHeaventoEarth A to join two together H I see the letters like this... The is only One with Love... No division, stress, hurt or pain...anxieties which all come from fear ...and sin which pays the wages of death ( of God's Holy Spirit of Peace) but God's gift is ever lasting life through Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour who is returning quickly for Healing All Nations and Heaven on Earth as promised for The Promised land to come...Come... Peace🕊💖🕊 ' blessed are the peacemakers for they are all children of God....' and ' by their fruits we know them ' Matthew 5 and 7... We are dead without Spirit just as Faith without works is dead...James 2:26 HalleluYah Revelation 19... 🕊💖🕊✨✨✨✨ 😮

I’ve always had such a love of learning about Jesus and the stories in the Bible. I renounced Christianity in 2008 at the age of 20 and became an atheist after my mother died when I was 24, but I’m so happy I’ve started to believe again and feel the connection. It started last year around this time. I think Jesus came to me while I was sitting in a park. I’ve felt reconnected ever since and it just keeps growing. I’m so happy about it. I felt very lost and lonely for what seems a very long time. I’m almost 31 now. Anyway, thank you for making these. I love the stories. Great to listen to as I drive.

I'm a retired pastor, and only in my retirement have I become aware of the videos. I suppose I could be sad, because it didn't happen earlier, for I certainly could have used them in my pastoral ministry. But I choose to simply be thankful to have this resource that not only enriches my own appreciation of the Scriptures, but also gives me a solid, engaging tool to help others encounter the Living Word of God (Jesus) in a new way. Thanks be to God for The Bible Project!

Never lose faith in God and your belief. I’m 27, and have faced many trials and am ashamed to say that I lost my faith for awhile after I got saved. I’ve recently found my way back to the Bible and have been drawn back to God more than ever. You have your whole life ahead of you and will go through things that you may not even think about now, but always remember that God is with you always. And remember the scripture that says through our weakness His strength is shown. It’s not easy being a Christian. People will argue and disagree. And the whole world is designed in a way where there is no proof in God other than your personal faith. But AlWAYS trust his word and hold it close to your heart and He will guide you. Proverbs 3:5-8

I just wanted to say thank you for this, I am a teenager and I am a Christian and have been all my life but in recent years have faintly lost touch with the strong sense of the holy spirit I once had in my heart. I am a Sunday School Teacher and decided I was going to study my lesson more in-depth than usual and I came across this video after reading through some of Acts. After this short video I already feel an amazing reconnection and passion for understanding the bible. God works in amazing ways.

really love these.wonderfully and simply told and the animation really adds to the experience..i only have one critique though..i think when explaining the accounts of the gospel message getting out and the baptism of the holy spirit that the teaching of repentance and water baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus should not be left out...this is the very foundation of what the apostles taught immediately after they introduced ppl to Jesus as Saviour..this is important because its the instructions of how to receive remission of sins through Christ Jesus. when the Jews saw that the gentiles had been received by God, because the holy ghost had fallen on the uncircumsized just as they experienced, they commanded that they should also be baptized calling on the name of the Lord Jesus. and when the jews first received the holy ghost and tongues of fire, men were pricked in their heart and said what shall we do once they had heard them preaching Jesus...Peter said...repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus christ, for the remission o your sins and you shall receive the gift of the holy ghost..

ISAIAH 44 - ACTS “I have blotted out, like a thick cloud, your transgressions, and like a cloud, your sins. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.” (Isaiah 44:22) WORDS BY: JESUS "What do you do with the new life I have given you? Do you walk in the new creation man as Paul did leaving your old life behind, or do you go back to the life you were living? Let Me tell you something about discipleship. A disciple, when he is converted, will put away all old things and walk according to 2 Corinthians 5:17. There are two conversions in a Christian’s life. The first is salvation and the second is being renewed day by day into Galatians 2:20. This conversion is rather gradual and is based upon the believer’s maturity and growth. Some may not even desire this and are content just to remain at a salvation level, for there are parts of their life they don’t want to let go. But I do not want converts. I am seeking opportunities to make disciples, and I can only do so if you are truly seeking Me as Paul was, because when he converted, his old life was done away with thus the new had come. Can the same be said about My bride? When people only use the cross partially for salvation’s sake, they will never experience the fullness of restoration. You will lack so much of what you could accomplish if you used the cross to the fullness of what it was intended for. Paul lived a filled life. Had he chosen to settle for salvation only, then where would two thirds of the New Testament be? How much can you accomplish living a full life in Me? The possibilities are endless. So know that when I saved you, you have an opportunity to increase far and beyond what you now know. Settle it in your heart that you will forsake your old life and pursuer those things from above and you will set yourself on a journey that will be remembered. This will be your greatest act."

Great video like always guys! I love the clarity of it. I was intrigued by the old testament reference to when the kingdom of God started. Isaiah 2:1-4 and Daniel 2:31-35 also prophecy of that historic moment:) I do wonder though when you guys will talk about Baptism & it's significance? I thought it would have been in the book of Acts. Since this was the first gospel message given by Peter & the people responded by believing, being cut to the heart( broken about their sin), repented & baptized for forgiveness of sin & received the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Great video and great illustrations. I really enjoyed it, particularly how you tied several things to the Old Testament. Great stuff! One bit of constructive criticism: Two things it's lacking though - the role of the Holy Spirit in directing the mission of evangelism. One other thing it's lacking, which is so key and apparent in the book of Acts: the immersions in water in the name of Jesus for the forgiveness of sins (Acts 2:37-41, Acts 8:12-13, Acts 8:36-39, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:47-48)

Thank you so much for marking these! In my religion class I have to write a summary of each section on the Bible timeline and these really help.

Jesus being seated at the right hand of God signifies a place of power. Jesus was God in the flesh and ascended back to his throne as ruler overall...afterall He is the everlasting Father according to Isaiah. So that illustration with Jesus sitting beside "The Father" is a misconception to the godhead. "Hear o Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord." Let's not forget how Thomas referred to Jesus as my Lord and my God. So impressive video but that was one of my issues here. And not to mention the disciples telling us right throughout the book of Acts to be baptized in Jesus' name. But that too comes from an understanding of the oneness of God. Be blessed.

Actually, we serve a triune God. One God in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The beginning of John opens with "The word (Jesus) was with God, and the word was God". We know this "word" is Jesus because in vs 14, it says, "and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us". So, Jesus being in fellowship with the Father seated at the right hand of God, is correct.

This really is superb. I variously missed and never knew ALL of this before. I was taught to understand that everyone in the room spoke in tongues, that is, spoke utter nonsense because they were possessed by the spirit, after the spirit came upon them. The notion that the Spirit caused the disciples to preach to the gathered people in languages the gathered people knew though the Disciples didn't, makes far more sense. It's also actually what it says. And I never knew anything about the Messianic temple that now consisted of God's people.

I'd like to say I appreciate what the Bible Project is doing. I thank You for it. But, I DON'T recall hearing the time period of when the book of Acts was written by Dr. Luke. I believe when giving the details on a piticullar book of The Holy Bible. That it is important to give the year/years the book was written. Would You not agree? May we NOT ever, let these videos keeps us from reading God's TRUE Word out of an actual book, The Holy Bible. 🙏🙏🙏

The truth of Jesus became more and more obvious with each passing day, even for a hard core ex-atheist like me, as our contemporary culture tries to impose ever more non-sustainable teachings, under the guise of tolerance, upon the world through the most impressionable. Praise God

Also, I have noticed a lot of request for foreign language translation on your videos :) I think it would be a great idea if these videos were made available for those who can't speak English. Kind regards
