I also know about get out and watched the fantastic mr fox movie. I recommend you read "freak the mighty" its a great book and there is also a movie for it

Gummo is definitely a pretty uncomfy watch, but I really liked it. Quite a bit of graphic animal cruelty tho :( Thanks so much!!! been meaning to get to Everyone in This Room Will Someday be Dead. love all of the covers I’ve seen for it and the depth that it seems to have. I’ve had Annihilation on my TBR for forever too and never realized it was adapted into a movie. can’t wait for part 2!

I think I had the same experience as you watching There Will Be Blood. I went into it expecting to be bored and then spent the next week thinking about it. 😂 Still do, sometimes. Got a few to add to my tbw now. Thanks.

I am such a sucker for Paul Dano baseline and then Daniel Day-Lewis gave the performance of a lifetime, so by the end I was like ummmmmm did I just love this movie???? lol I also still think about it sometimes. Glad I was able to give you some recs & thx for watching ଘ(੭*ˊᵕˋ)੭* ̀ˋ

Annihilation is one of my favorite movies! I thought it was way better than the book, although I do like the book too. I felt like the movie did more with the concept and was deeper than Vandermeer's novel. The score was hair raising too. :)

I am such a party pooper with scifi but i also really enjoyed Annihilation, so that's saying somethin! The book is incredibly abstract and the whole time I was reading, it made me wonder how anyone possibly thought it would translate onto a movie screen. I guess I appreciate the weirdo abstract nature of the book and I appreciate the movie for even existing and being good, against all odds. I saw the film in theaters and agree, the score was awesome (´◡`)
