Nr 18...the same number G used to name Bennett when they met again. So he described Bennett as the highest that one can go on its own

G didn't give Bennett free ride and it was tough school to the very end... Profound picture of the man that was active to the very end. A bit of disappointment that even he had no power over dying and suffering. I would expect him to leave this world peacefully and in other conditions maybe....but who am i to judge. Thanks for introducing the work of Bennett.

You’re welcome Waldemar! We can never know how Gurdjieff left this mortal plane, it would only be speculation, even from those who were with him. It’s a beautiful chapter, and one of the most intimate I have read regarding Gurdjieff’s last days. Bennett has much to offer this modern world, and I look forward to continuing to study his works here at the channel! 😊🙏

It seems to me that John Bennet was Mr Gurjieffs most strong representative of his ideas in the U.K. I've read many of Bennets books- "Intimations" is very interesting

Yes, I think I would agree with that. It’s a shame that Madame Ouspensky never wrote anything down. I have recently found a copy of his intimations and so may get round to reading that soon. 😀👍

@bookclub5291 Thanks for your reply. All of John Bennet's books are interesting. 'Hazard' looks at why uncertainty is necessary in the world. And without it, love wouldn't be possible
