In Northern New Jersey I'm fortunate to have to have Independent book stores close by. The Town Book Store, Bookends, Watchung Booksellers, The Bookworm, The Chatham Bookseller, Dear Reader Books . Used books : Station 1 Books & Vinyl, Montclair Book Center, Old Book Shop (...in Morristown. Incredible books). Great content.

Thank you for the recommendations Angela. I guess KZbin is my main source of recommendations for books. I like The Womans Prize podcast too for recommendations and just general talk about books, plus I attend an in person book club where recommendations are often given by other members. Like you, also, I love browsing a bookshop...new or second hand.

I have a great group of friends who often talk books and I come away with some great books ideas from them. I really love your channel as many of the books you recommend are the type of books I love. I recently purchased Secret Voices after watching your video, and I'm loving it! And today's Palace recommendation is one I'll be checking out. My local library branch has a copy of your cookbook, so I'll be stopping in tomorrow for that!

Hi Angela, it's so good to come across someone who is in my same town. Yay! I also find the library terrific. The one in Bassendean has displays on various topics, such as local authors, and has a little regular newsletter to read with book reviews. I've been using Audible as I do a fair bit of driving, and that is good at suggesting books I might enjoy. ❤

I'm subscribed to the Beaufort Street Books newsletter. They always have some great author events. But my favourite bookstore in Perth is Boffins Books. I just feel so welcome there every time I pop in.

I have just come across your channel and subscribed immediately. I love the sound of all the books you’re currently reading, our reading tastes seem quite similar. I also will be looking into some of your recommendations. I mean, Chanel and Dior, how could I not?! 😊 Miranda Mills, who I have followed for several years often mentions Slightly Foxed and I’ve become enamored of them too. I have a walking route that goes past a dozen little free libraries. It's something of an 'anti-recommendation' when a new book is donated frequently. 'The Wager' surprised me when it turned up in several neighbourhoods. Too many cannibals? 'Casual Vacancy' was another that turned up almost at once. Between hype and the 'hood. Trust the 'hood.

I love the Chanel and Dior book series on YT. I agree Rosamund Pike is wonderful. Marie Claire also do one called Shelf Portrait but I find that's a bit hit or miss.
