Hmm. I did the link with the amazon, but my link only goes to amazon (I know it's available on Barnes&Noble, because I have a link). I'm not sure what I did wrong.

what is the catch? Obviously booklinker has to make money somehow to keep up their site and backend. So how are they getting paid? Skeptical.

We strip out the booklinker links and all short links on our book promotion sites. Two reasons. 1 - we found that the landing pages causes too many choices for readers and they end up leaving the site.. it’s an extra step for readers. 2- our listings put the Amazon link directly in our email. If the author is using an affiliate link their affiliate account can be terminated because putting affiliate links in emails goes against their terms and services.

To your first point, I can understand why you came to that conclusion, but our testing has actually resulted in significant boosts when promoting multiple options. To the second points, as As of March 2024, Amazon affiliate links are allowed inside of emails!
