It’s awesome watching Phil play a game he’s genuinely spooked by that he also really likes. I love horror aesthetics but hate horror tone and atmosphere, so it’s really fun seeing someone who loves the whole spooky scary package being so enthusiastic about it, like “this is great! I hate it!”

I'm so glad you finally checked out this game. It's on par with Silent Hill and Resident Evil in my eyes. Such a fantastic experience and it gets much MUCH scarier later on. Thank you Phil, Caco and Nik for this stream. I really enjoyed it. Hope to see you three soon for part 2!

I just got done S Ranking this game and finishing all the unlockables and endings. Doctor Mode included. Nightmare difficulty is atrociously hard to S Rank, in this game, man. This old game still takes me back to so many memories with Half Life. Scared the s*** out of me first seeing this, back in 2012. Glad I have finally gotten the courage to complete it. 😱😱😱👻👻☠☠

The reason chat told Phil to drop shotgun is cuz shotgun ammo is one of the rarest in game. CoF devs seem to have a hateboner for shotty n sniper rifle since it virtually never appears. Past Ch.4 sniper is just gone, no gun and no ammo, shotgun appears in hospital with 9 shells and das it, shotty also appears in last ch where you visit your house and again, only 1 ammo box. But glock, VP, and two late game pistols, they all got plenty of ammo, though VP ammo also dissapears past ch.4

Just because you use a mouse with your right hand, doesn't mean your right handed. if you write, open kitchen drawers, use eating utensils and carry bags using your left hand, that probably means your left handed. using your non-dominant hand to operate your mouse is basically the same as using your non-dominant hand to open a door, you still know how to use the door even though your not using your dominant hand.

bit of movement tech (I was fuckin around and figured this out) if you dodge while moving forward and jump while in the middle of your dodge you go flying forward, you can pair this with bhopping to go faster than running at a cost of spending even more stamina.

I love this game so goddamn much, it really saddens me that so many people have never heard of it. I genuinely consider this game to be one of, if not, the best horror game. It's so smart and does alot of things right Y'all really need to play this for yourselves and share it with everyone you know, it's a free masterpiece game!

1:45:55 During this part, its easily seen that Simon when he called this depression/su!cide prevention hotlines, he most likely thought "Hey, this doesnt make any fucking sense!" or he thought it might be important, but not important enough.

It pains me to see him use healthkits when his health isn't 25% 😭 1:41:51 I disagree, knife is better for combat vs trash mobs because it's easier to kite enemies with it then nightstick which has a delay on the attack 2:01:05 Bad news for you but outside ch.2, shotgun shells are super scarce, I could find like 2 ammo boxes in ch4 and it's a huge chapter. Apperently it finally appears in hospital level but that's about it, not worth carrying sadly even though I love em in games 😢 2:49:30 BIG mistake since shotgun shells has to be rarest ammo type in entire game only rivaled by sniper ammo

While Cry of Fear is better than any Fnaf game. I do feel Cry of Fear kinda tedious at times. I juat started chapter 3(medium difficulty) and damn it's a slog in some parts, even first chapter was slowish. Also story is kinda lacking, and gameplay is consistent of me constantly stab dodge back stab repeat monsters cuz Idk how much ammo I'll need since it's so scarce. I hope it picks up because otherwise it's a very good game especially for free 😊
