I have recently been interested in middle grade fantasy as it seems more whimsical and magical than many modern-day adult fantasy novels. Thank you for this wonderful recommendation ❤. PS: If you are looking for a ww2 historical summer, feel good epistolary novella then, please do read the guernsey literary and potato peel pie society ❤. It's just beautiful and also involves the aspect of books and joys of reading. It is my comfort novella🥰.

I always appreciate your recommendations when I'm looking for something a little softer; I read a lot of serious non-fiction and sometimes I need a break. My favorite book at the moment is When the Angels Left the Old Country by Sacha Lamb. It can be suspenseful at times but I find it so soft and comforting overall.

hi ahya!! i really love your videos. they've ben such a safe cozy haven for me. thank you for all the book reccomendations! i've discovered so many new books i want to read because of you. i wanted to suggest where the mountain meets the moon by grace lin. it's a beautiful reality meets fantasy adventure novel. the protagonist, a girl called minli, lives in the valley of fruitless mountain, working hard in the rice fields with her parents everyday. in the evenings her father tells her wonderful stories about the old man of the moon and the jade dragon, while her mother thinks it's no use to fill minli's head full of stories if it mean their fortune stays the same. but minli believes her father's stories and sets out on a journey to look for the old man of the moon to ask him how to change her family's fortune. i really loved this book, i think grace lin touched on some really good subjects. i also love the characters, their personalities. there are also stories within the story, and the artwork is also really beautiful as well.

I really love the choices you make in books because many of them reflect my own interests. I have a hard time with these very sexual books or ones with loads of language. I feel many people don't read classics any longer either, which I have always try to mix into my reading lists. These are charming sounding books and I love your videos. I have always wanted to read All Creatures Great and Small. I have read some of James Herriot's children's books which are very cute. It is sad I never read some of the OTHER L.M. Montgomery books. I really need to read Emily of the Moon still too. Have you read that one?
