The mystery board was about Percy Jackson. LT is the 1st book, The Lightning Thief. SM is Sea of Monsters, etc each set of initials representing a book in the overarching Riordanverse by Rick Riordan starting with the Percy Jackson series going into Heroes of Olympus and finally the Trials of Apollo. Percy is given a canonical age via the author and books but a lot of fans think with the amount of time spent across the latter two series that he should've aged more than just a year or two over the course of those 10 books given he aged 4 years in the first 5 books of the original series.

To add to this, there’s weirdness around his birth. Percy’s birthday is at the end of summer, but his parents are said to have met at the start of summer and only been together for one summer. Which means either his birth was extremely premature, extremely postmature, or his parents met in the southern hemisphere.

Titan's Curse takes place that winter, which means Percy would've already turned 14 in August. In BoTL he's still 14 and we see him celebrate his 15th birthday in the last chapter. And the Last Olympian is set in August of the next year so he's 15 for the most part and turns 16 towards the end. The events of Heroes of Olympus take place the next June-August (except for the Lost Hero in the previous winter) and so Percy continues being 16 and would turn 17 in the upcoming weeks after Blood of Olympus. Trials of Apollo starts from January of the next year meaning Percy is now canonically *17 years old* until we have more books that take place after August. Rick is not very clear when it comes to the ages of his characters (see Nico, for example) but the one time he was very clear was with Percy.

I love this editing style it’s not stale were there is no edit like moving clips but it’s not too overwhelming were it gets clips really fast. This editing style is the best for ADHD folks. Ex: There’s a stimulant that’s constant (Cat and Background Music)

as someone who grew up on library books and whose collection is a bunch of birthday gifts and some books i bought with my adult money, matching editions and full series don‘t exist on my shelf and i‘m not ashamed of that. out of the two full series that i do own, one is actually a perfect collection, the other one has one paperback (travel sized) and then only hardbacks.

It being a 10 means that the card is center, no nicks in the corner, and overall nothing is wrong with the card and it is absolutely perfect. It improves its worth as a card, and could make it worth a bunch more from its original form. (It not being graded) (also its sometimes very hard to get a 10, so the dude probably wanted to show it off loll tbh i would too)

Got a question for those who follow the Greene Daniel...or perhaps the Goblin himself if he is available. I got back into reading recently, and therefore have WAY too many large fantasy series to get through. If you were in a similar situation, would you rather... A) Read all the books in a particular series in order straight through to preserve the narrative flow B) Skip around through three or four series so that one narrative never gets stale or C) Some combination of those two, perhaps including what I like to call a "pallet cleanser" book outside the genre of high fantasy/sci-fi to read in-between the 700 page behemoths of Wheel of Time Any and all suggestions are welcome and appreciated...thank you for your time.

I would recommend option C here, as that’s what I’ve done in the past. I found that I needed a break of some kind between entries in big series like wheel of time to avoid too much of a good thing.
