A couple of days ago I took my bag out and broke it up and mixed it was two weeks and seemed to be growing slow, so mixed it well most growth on bottom and around the port. Any way mixed it very well and checked it yesterday I had growth all over it little white specks had grown all over in the bag it was great. And I think I will be have a full bag of mycelium soon I have my mono tub and have been watching your videos on how to do that. Can’t wait. Thanks so much.

I think you have absolutely the best video for beginners out there and I have done things exactly the way that you said and it worked out great. I used uncle Ben’s and it worked perfectly. The only problem is you can’t see what’s going on as well, but it’s so inexpensive. Would you do a video on that? Also, I don’t see a video on how to make a spore syringe. Maybe I missed it. And if you make these, can you show how to do these things without all the high-tech options for beginners?

Ashley, the stickers that came with your monotub are super nifty thank you for that I accidentally ripped a hole in my spawn bag so I switched it to a Mason jar and made a lid the only free jar I had was blue glass the mycelium grew sooo much faster than the other spawn bag I didn't mess up this is only my 1st try so I can't say for sure it's the blue glass but I would imagine the more red spectrum light probably turns more blue that's my theory at least to anybody that has a blue Mason jar laying around and can pressure cook it it may be worth giving a try and see if it works for you too

High friend, I have just started my journey of growing my own mushrooms, and with the help of the educational materials you provide I feel fairly confident that I will be successful. I am wondering however what you mist your tub with? Or what you recommend to mist with; more specifically I’m asking if your using water and if so is it distilled water, filtered water, sink water, hose water, toilet water(meant to be funny), etc . I’m on day 5 so far and no condensation. I believe it’s because of the winter weather present right now but I am trying to keep my tubs at recommended temperatures via your advice. I just use tap water. Don't add too much humidity just a light condensation on the walls of the tub. You don't want to stall the tub. Thank you! 💜

So, it said along the bottom of the screen that you can substitute the inflatable monotub for a 66qt monotub. Is your bulk recipe for 2 x inflatables the same as for 2 x 66qt? Or will you need to adjust the quantities to make more?

Cheers thank u for the inflatable tub. Since I switch over I have yet to get contam. When was running 66quart tubs I almost always got trich usally after the 1st flush but sometimes right away I have a grow tent and I did the dumbest thing and tried to save the tub and cut out the trich almost daily. Well what I did do is contaminate everything in my tent it was heart breaking 💔to toss out all those fully colonized tubs in the compost pile. Since then I got 3 boomer shroomer fruiting at all times 1 is Albino PE 1 is PE and the 3rd is tidal wave and I have pics to prove it that I got 1 78 gram wet PE shroom and it’s veil wasn’t torn yet but I had to remove it. After 30 hours in dehydrator it weight 7.1 grams and many others from that flush were 4-5 grams dry weight giant PE for the 1 st flush. Bigger dosent always mean stronger but these were amazingly powerful

After a few days in the inflatable monotub I see a very light condensation and mycelium branching out on the top (reaching towards the sky, not just spread across the substrate) should I increase humidity by spraying some cool, boiled water on the walls of the tub? This is about 3-4 days after S2B. It doesn’t look nearly as developed as yours? Granted my bulk substrate to spawn ratio was different. I did a 1.5lb spawn bag to about 175g of coco, 175g of verm, 25g of gypsum. Also I was getting pins up to an inch tall of GT in my spawn bag at the injection port, so maybe I did S2B too late? Also I picked up the tub after S2B and since the bottom isn’t rigid the cake kind of broke apart in some places as the weight dipped in the center, is this problematic at all?

Hi, I hope you are well. I need to ask you for support 🙌 I keep failing in making my grainbags quite of a few times now, and i dont understand what s the problem. This makes me sad. This is my procedure: When I have done the bags, had the millets or brown rice soiled in the water for 18-24 hours, pressure cooked them, waiting another 24 hours, I injuculate, and after 2-3 weeeks I have about 10% mycelium visible. Then I break this, I mix all together in the bag, and then… the mycelium in many cases stops growing 🥹 Temp in the DARK bathroom is 24 celsius (75f). 1-3 bags now this has happened (i ve only done 4 bags so far), and I dont understand what is the issue? Should I wait with the grain and having this in the air after soiling? Too wet grains? Should I wait longer before breaking the mycelium down? Wait till 30 % size of the bag instead? Can you help me Philly, or someone who knows? 🙏
