@@gladiatorbigboss 1/4 mile racing will never end just slowed down a little but it's slowly coming back...it's nothing like someone jumping out on you and you run they ass down for the win light that's what 1/4 mile racing gives you...1/8th mile is to short can't let your well built racecar stretch its legs like the 1/4 mile lets it geared nicely that you can drive your 8 second 1/4 mile streetcar to the track run 8's then drive home no 4.56...5.13 gears gotta trailer it around because you got it geared for that short ass 1/8th...it's called enjoying what you built...give me a fast well built small geared 1000h.p streetcar anyday over a track only trailer Queen 1/8th mile car

You need to get out and drive some more cars. A "chipped" Buick will probably go Low to Mid 14,s My 7,000 lbs. Diesel Truck goes High 12,s And my 86 Mustang with a 521 Stroked BBF Goes Low to Mid 9,s on a 275/60 Drag Radial N/A through a Carb.

Just curious as I'm still running my stock bottom 3.8 block, 208.208, champion irons, 60lbs Seimens with a DBB Precison 6262 w/Precison 3" inlet/outlet SLIC at 25lbs and I'm getting 11:02- 10:90 in the quarter.

This was being done 30 years ago and now dudes are taking GTRs and removing the FWD to do same thing as a full framed G body 2 door coupe V6 Snail lol. Same thing w GMC Syclone...dont forget there are 8sec ones out there retaining the 4wd and chevy V6 Snail setup. JDM, Ford Ecopoop...all late to the party. '63-64 Oldsmobile Jetfire was 1st sedan in USA w Turbo V8 with Meth injection! GM runs this program

cbiltcliffe What year is it? Because I know the older Buick engines were extremely under-square... that's why the pre-emissions Buick 455 made 510 lbs of torque at 2800 rpm and the GNX 3.8 made 360 lbs of torque at 3000 rpm.
