Also, I've been riding cruisers and longboards for about ten years now, and I kinda like the Mini because the size of a longboard makes it unusable in a medium city. Sharp turns are nearly impossible and you can never really reach your top speed. I own a custom Loaded Vanguard Flex 3, and 3 others homemade cruisers, and man, the cruisers are just far more convenient. P.S : I live in the south of France, so obviously the size of the cities around me can't be compared to Shanghai ;)

How much do you have to brace to go over bumps ? How does it compare to a longerboard ? Looking at the Meepo v2 right now, but the city I live in has a ton of old streets with all kinds of bumps, tramway rails etc... Based on your description, I think I would consider the WowGo 2S longboard more. With WowGo Mini you’ll feel every bump, and on some roads the vibrations may be really uncomfortable after a while.

I just bought the Meepo 2V 38" am riding it for the first time today, but I am a cultured skateboarder and know how to do ollies and jumps and stuff so I want a board closer to a street or ramp board size! Most short eboards are as heavy as electric longboards so not sure if you’d want something that heavy. Maybe look into Eflow. Don’t know much about Faboard except that it’s Fabtrav’s product.

@@DanielKwan Now this is interesting and thank you for the information. Eflow is another cool option. While the Meepo mini is the fastest the Faboard was built by a skateboarder so if you don't have a ramp or street trick background with a normal motorless skateboard I would suggest you review the Faboard with a cultured skater. I wrote Jay Boston about this Daniel and he thinks I should go with the WowGo mini because they have good service and it is a great all around board. The Meepo mini looks less like a skateboard to me than the WowGo and Faboard. The problem with Fabi is that he shows that he is an excellent skateboarder on the street jumping stairs and doing kick flips with his board but than he doesn't back up his new product with the engine and battery and do some tricks on it. Jay says he thinks that Fabi only sold like a hundred boards so far!? I don't know but I like the product a bit and assume he sold some more than that I think. Best, Adam

This one has larger wheels so can handle bumpier terrains and can go faster and farther. LOU is much lighter and more portable and can be taken on planes.

Should be available now. No flex (same as any board this size). Makes smaller turns than the 2S but not as small as other boards this size, though loosening the trucks might change that. But if the trucks were loose I might be worried about wheel bite with this board. Acceleration and braking are exactly the same as the 2S.

About 7 kg. If the rear wheels are worn out you can get replacement wheels (including the motors) from WowGo’s web site.

Seems a lot of folks (myself included) are torn between getting the 2s or mini. Aren't the decks interchangable, and if so how difficult is it to swap out one for the other? I'd like to buy the mini straight away, and purchase the 2s longboard deck separately. I see that the decks are under $90 U.S. dollars, so it seems like a viable option, doesn't it?

Brian Rader - If you get a deck from WowGo, the mounting holes and foam pads and wire should already be there. So yeah swapping should be really easy.

I wouldn’t want to ride on rough terrain with the Mini for more than a few minutes. There’s a pretty big difference in ride comfort between the 2S longboard and the Mini. I might feel ok going top speed on the Mini if the road is very smooth.

Someone else had put a 6.2Ah WowGo battery into a Meepo v1.5, so in theory I think putting the 99Wh battery for Meepo into a WowGo Mini should be ok. But I'm really not sure and don't have firsthand experience in swapping their batteries.

Rooks - Cool good to know about the battery. As for the ride, keep in mind most of this video was on really smooth roads. The Mini can go over some rough terrain but the vibrations can be quite harsh.

Viktor Jonsson - Both should be very resistant to splashes but keep in mind the bearings and motors aren’t waterproof. I wouldn’t ride in wet conditions.

I live in italy and i believe smaller boards are great for dense cities with small streets, few bike lanes, very small parks... as the ones we have here. I am 1.90 cm tall and i weight like 105kg. I commute to work on a daily basis (from train station to office = 2km). Do you think wowgo mini can be hard to ride for a "big" guy like me ? I prefer the mini because its easier to carry on the train probably

Hmm I’m not too sure, but I would guess that you won’t want to go too fast standing on such a small board. Your weight should be ok for it, it’ll just struggle more on hills and have less range than listed on the specs. You might consider also getting the regular 2S deck or KT deck (just the deck, not the entire board), so if the Mini is too small you can just put all the parts on a bigger deck.

hey, i commented on your other video about the teamgee. well, just before my purchase I watched this video and have decided on the wowgo. just curious about your thoughts. if you could only have one board in china which one, the 2s or the mini? about your question, 'is this video too long'. i don't think so, you indicated it was a video of ride footage. you showed a ton of different terrain and the two different boards. i do wish you would use a gimbol though, or let me rephrase that. I think that if you used just a simple zhiyun smooth q the footage would be so much better. that bad boy has 16 hour battery life and doubles as a battery charger. I don't leave home without it. also its small. it can't be more difficult than what your doing now. anyway, i'm subscribed. 2S. The Mini can handle a lot of different terrain for its size, but the longboard is still a lot more comfortable when the road is a bit rough. Also less scary when going fast. My problem with gimbals is that they frequently don’t point in the direction I want when I suddenly point the camera in a different direction, which I do a lot. But it is something I’m looking into.

I really just need a practical transport when traveling. I've already got a motorcycle and two ebikes. As for the gimbal, i just use free follow mode, I like the zhiyun because it's got a double tap to go from selfie to landscape seamlessly. I think it's good for someone who wants something like a WowGo 2S or similar board but much smaller. Maybe someone who finds other small boards to be too wobbly and would sacrifice some turning ability for stability. Yes the others in this video are WowGo's cofounder Aiden and marketing guy Valley. I visited their factory and the next day we went out for this ride.

Watching you ride the mini, you've definitely made it clear that you appreciate the nimble turning over the 2S longboard. However the longboard has great flex and makes it a smoother ride. I'm leaning towards the WowGo KT. It seems like it turns like a mini and potentially has a bit of flex, at least more than the mini I imagine . It's almost a hybrid of the 2S and mini with a classic skateboard shape. What do you think?

Yes 2S for sure is a smoother ride. KT has a big kicktail so I think that’s the main selling point. I don’t think you should expect any flex tho - it’s not a long wheelbase.

Shipping says 48hour delivery on their website. Im in southern cali its been 2 days and nothing so far not even a tracking number for the 2s.

According to their FAQ (wowgoboard.com/pages/faq) it's shipped within 2 days (meaning it leaves the factory within 2 days; they could clarify that), and 9-13 days to reach an address in the US. At the top of the web site it says you get a tracking number when the package arrives in the destination country. So it's probably still 1-2 weeks until you receive the board.

Depends on what your city is like. If it's crowded but the roads are good and smooth, maybe the Mini. Otherwise I think the 2S longboard is more versatile.

Daniel Kwan In my opinion it's the new thing atm. Wowgo mini, boosted mini ownboard mini and also meepo is planning to make a new campus version. They seem to realize that there's a gap for a smaller transportation gadget. Especially in a narrow city

Not sure how I feel about the smart turn on feature. Seems pretty convenient when you start, but what about when the battery dies and you have to push? No way to stop the beeping. I have one on it’s way that has it, so time will tell if it’s more annoying to turn it on, or not be able to turn it off.

I've only tried LOU 3.0 for like 5 minutes so I'm not sure. Depends how you feel about it I guess.

Very different. LOU is much more like a regular skateboard. WowGo Mini is like a very short longboard, if that makes any sense... It turns better than a longboard (well not all longboards) but not as well as LOU. There are some surfaces that for sure would feel terrible if riding on LOU but would probably feel ok (or less bad) on WowGo Mini.

WOWGO customer service is terrible, they lie about shipping time, expect 3 weeks to a month. Then expect an email saying something is wrong with your address, a bunch of idiots, liars. If your lucky you'll get responded via email, the not so lucky ones are left hoping for an email or some sort of miracle voice telling them when they will receive their board.

I was about to hit the checkout button but I can't seem to decide which one to go with. The WowGo 2S or WowGo KT (Do they both carve turn the same way when leaning?). Or is it better to loosen the trucks abit on the 2S and perhaps enjoy that. It's kind of the deal breaker for me between these two and I was just about to hit the checkout button >__

VikDUH - Their bushings are the same if that’s what you’re asking. Their differences would be kicktail, flex, wheelbase, and your stance.
