Made 4 9.90 passes before it slipped , but my trans at that time still under 18k miles on it as well , unfortunately even the built version didn’t make it total 3 passes before the drum broke on the 2/3 shift , currently have a max effort hp90 with billet e drum

do you remember what size belt you ran on that pulley combo

Belt size I don’t remember, pulley was a 3.1 and 18% overdrive damper on the crank

Are the drop in pistons stock 392 compression?

They come stock compression but if you do the 5 layer head gaskets your are no longer stock compression

Would really depend on your drag pack set up and how you launch it , think the fastest m6 to date is 9.2s running a procharger

How many miles / How long did it live on the stock bottom end? Looking to do a procharged 392 for weekend driving/Beach trips and curious if I should just do a boosted 392 or buy a used Hellcat. Thank you

I put over 10k miles on the stock 392 without any issues, that was 7psi of boost making 620whp , only reason I upgraded to forged rods and pistons is I wanted way more power than the stock could ever handle. And note the heads are still stock at 1000+ whp , tuning is the key to any build

All the mods are listed, cost wise it will depend as I didn’t pay anyone to install anything

@@widebody_moparmike think it’s better to buy a scat and make them upgrades or buy a hellcat meaning like do you think the car and the upgrades altogether are still cheaper then a hellcat

@@zaytovenng3576 if your turning the wrenches it will be cheaper than buying a redeye , if paying a shop to everything it will be like buying a redeye but making more power , issue that comes with a scat is over 750hp the trans will fail as the hp70 is the very weak link even built , so a used hp90 aka Hellcat trans ranges from 4-6k and then if you want it built it’s another 6-7k. Ideally if your not looking to be racing I say 630-650 whp is all that’s needed , can safely make that with just a procharger stage2 kit with a P1x headunit (stock Hellcat makes 630ish ) to the wheels

Let’s see he’s in the 8s , as of 2021 fastest pass for my car was 9.6s , not sure how that question is a million dollar one lol . But seeing I’m over 1100 whp now and awaiting my local track to open for the season guess you’ll have to wait an see what the 392 does

This was stock , after the hemi shootout at vmp I had the hp70 built had a bunch of issues during the process and then broke it , car now has a built hp90 with billet e drum. Like I tell everyone with a hp70 just do the hp90 swap and save yourself the hassle and money
