Awesome, thanks for this! I'll tackle this over the weekend so long as the weather stays nice.

Thanks. Helped me change the P/S idler. What a PITA just to change a belt pulley. I will never buy another transverse mounted vehicle.

Thanks for the “how to” video. Side note you can save money by using Mitsubishi’s online parts store. I noticed when comparing the pricing to STM, Mitsubishi on average is 30% cheaper and it’s direct, just thought I would share some knowledge.

For sure. STM is just a easy place to reference and find parts.

@@BoostedFilms agreed, I do it all the time. I will say however, if your needing a part ASAP STM is great at shipping out whereas if Mitsubishi doesn’t have it at their warehouse, they have to get it from Japan which can take some time. I experience that when I ordered the JDM Evo 8 MR tail lights.

I always snap that hole off, and be using a pry bar pushing up on it. I hate that tensioner.

And keep up the good vids, these are the best evo how to vids on youtube. I used your tip on the engine hoist for the transmission. It worked flawlessly. I used a 2inch tow strap instead of a chain, it made it easier to adjust. You should try that next time. 🙂

Hey love the videos. I have an Australian delivered (right hand drive) Evo ix. Any advice on where to get a server manual?

Am I the only person w/o AC?!? I'm having the hardest time getting this belt on. The belt size w/o AC is s'pose to be KO60569 and I'm having trouble getting a 575 on. FML
