BOOSTER BRS-8 Multi-Fuel Stove

I've just bought one of these for camping with a motorcycle, so small size and multi fuel use was a requirement. My friend has the MSR Whisper Lite which with a fuel bottle would cost 3 times as much as the BRS-8. The instructions that came with the stove are at best useless so thank god for KZbin. It has now been christened and I have to say we were both extremely impressed with the performance. The whole point of purchasing this stove was to use unleaded petrol (highly unrecommended by many people), the reason is so when we go camping anywhere on our motorbikes we only have to carry one fuel source as fuel for cooking and emergancy fuel for our bikes. This stove fits the bill perfectly at about a 3rd of the price of the other well known manufactures, one complaint that many have made in the past is the noise, it is loud compared to an MSR Whisper Lite, but I like the noise, it means its working.

Hey. This video I used unleaded gasoline mixed with kerosene 50/50. But it work's better only with gasoline. Takes less time to pre-heat.

Sorry for the delayed answer! It did used it for many times. Eventually it broke the pump... Now I have a Optimus SVEA 123r, much, much better, but only runs on benzine.

Thanks! I dont have it any more, broke the pump, but it lasted for more than 2h. The fuel bottle cannot be completely full.

There are obter options. I broke it but the stove lasted a lot. Now I have a Svea 123r. Top stove, works with benzin. You find it easy used on EBay. Best than MBR stove.

Hi there. I used it for a time, not worth the price... If you want a good stove, buy Svea 123r, I have one for years and you can buy used for a very nice price (new in Optimus page). Works with benzin fuel.

From a stove I had, the Providus Pro FM400 ;-) To use this cap you have to use also the gaz burner of the stove (smaller hole ). nature.providusit.com/prodotto/fm400/

UPDATE: Unleaded gas is very bad for the stove health. It clogs frequently!

Which is the best fuel for this stove? I used kerosene only for my brand new stove but yellow flames 🔥comes and goes! Is it becoz of kerosene or any advises?

You need a jet(or nozzle) with smaller hole for using kerosene as fuel. The hole size may be 0.3mm or smaller.

The pump and other maintenance bits can be purchased separately on Aliexpress. Its about 25% of the cost of Ebay or Amazon for Chinese goods such as this stove.

Hi. You can buy only the cap. The "QUIETSTOVE" has caps for very models of stoves. In my opinion they are expensive for just a cap... These type of burners make some noise (like a jet motor) but they are very wind resistant, unlike the quiet ones.
